    I find using the strap gives me better swing control. I own a Garrett cx 111 that has no arm strap and it’s awkward to swing and my shoulder will start hurting after an hour or so .     they are hard to find . I went ahead and ordered one for my xlt about a month ago . I inquired about it 2 weeks ago with metal detector.com and they told me they expected a shipment sometime this month . I hope so but I’m thinking I won’t recieve it until next month sometime with the holidays...

    I have the whites trx , the Garrett carrott that hooks up to the apex and the regular carrott and the Deus Mi-6. My favorites are the Garrett carrotts . Tough, well made , they don’t false if you use them as diggers lol

    which has been your favorite garrett?

    I’ve have owned several Garrett’s to include the ace 250, gti 2500 , at gold , at pro , most of the master hunters and still have the master hunter cx111 . I purchased a new apex and practicing with it for now . So far I think I like the apex better with the gti 2500 a close second.

    Replace trigger switch on MXT

    I did the replacement on my xlt and it’s basically the same . Just take your time and be careful with the meter screen and ribbon cable

    mx7

    I use my mx7 with the 6x9 coil or the 6 1/2 shooterr. Works really well in trashy parks and hits hard on coins. Its a keeper.
