My favorite Garrett is the AT Max . But then , it is my only Garrett with the exception of the pinpointers. The Max is a tank , very durable machine.

The CDC 3 coin commander. It was a dual discrimination unit like the Fisher 1265 but it had the bell tone for coins.

I have owned several different Garrett machines and I have to say I enjoyed the AT Pro the most.

GTA 1250, a nice light, reliable, dig everything machine.... eventually upgraded to the 2500 which I like a lot as well. Over the years though, have dug many more keeper finds with the 1250... maybe the advanced imaging of the 2500 tends to make a person lazier and more prone to cherry picking?

I've been happy to own the AT Pro, AT Max and AT Gold. Still own and use the AT Gold. I love the tones and the way it locks on to good targets that aren't too deep. Excellent gold prospecting detector with the 8X5" coil. Just bought a Nel Super Fly for it to use in parks and open fields. Thanks for the topic.

I’ve have owned several Garrett’s to include the ace 250, gti 2500 , at gold , at pro , most of the master hunters and still have the master hunter cx111 . I purchased a new apex and practicing with it for now . So far I think I like the apex better with the gti 2500 a close second.

I've had Garrett's going back to the ADS. GTI 350, Master Hunter CX3 power+, Ace 250, ATPro.
ADS is a wall hanger museum piece ,gti350 lost the battery doors, still play with and enjoy the CX3 in all metal it's still an impressive machine.
Found my first gold platinum earring with the Ace 250. I loan that machine out the most. Everyone just loves it.
The ATPro just gets it done.
Though I have to say. I just love the oll CX3 the most.
When it locks on,not floating around. Especially with that little Crossfire hockey puck coil on it, It's always something good. And that gooily voice is actually a fun lost art.
Wish I could find the 12" Crossfire coil for it.
Always get attention and Lookers when people hear it talking. For fun I'll put on Treasure talk A.
Telling everything she doing. Grand Kids Love it.
Though auto ground tracking seems a little funky lately. Loosing and trying to find GB.
Hunting around to much in Hot but stable soil.
Not constantly changing soil.
Wondering if Garrett can tune it up and bring her back better than New.
I bought all these new. Kids lost or damaged the oll machines. Love to run that ADS again.
