Looks like Garrett finally shook off the covid19 cobwebs and got to work on getting the machine into production and ultimately into the hands of distributors, retailers and consumers. Looking forward to hearing from Ontario retailers that they have the machines in stock and ready to ship to consumers. Thanks for keeping us in the loop John.

You just can’t deny the classic American feel of their videos. Man I love it. They feel out of the past. No other company is addressing its people that way. NM does good too but it’s not formalized like these apex vids. Cmon FT been a few years since I saw any vids from you guys!

I may get an APEX just to support Garrett. I’ve never had any Garrett detectors but I do like certain things about this one. Ready to see it in more hands online. Chigg and the HB crew have a couple hunts with it, but rarely do you see it in action. Maybe just some small talk about settings. The one clip I did see it used for any period of time, it seemed to have an affinity to iron which is kinda scary, but I admit I like the display and layout and I like that coil shape.

I think it is great the company is moving forward with a new unit. I must admit the past few years the hobby has taken a pretty good hit with Whites and Tesoro no longer being in business. It is a shame whether you were a fan or not of the brands....they were around a good long time and were USA companies.

You know I was looking recently in some old Long John Latham Lost treasure magazine from like 1972 and Garrett is the only one still around from way back then to the present day!!

I am not nessarily going to get an Apex right off of the bat however....it is a great step forward that Garrett is at least making an effort to keep up to date.

I have always liked some of the Garrett units.......but am looking forward to seeing what they put out in the future.
