I'm curious as well. Just got the relic, but the impact seems like quite a machine from what's been leaked about it!!
Patiently waiting the release.
Please post any relevant and real news on this gents!!

If you have the relic and then the impact comes out I would keep both I have the racer and the deus and when the impact comes out I think I will keep all three. If your a hard core hunter it's nice bringing out a couple of machines to see what may have been missed.

Oh yeah. Definitly keeping both.
Funny too because I got my deleon used and I'm sending it in for a makeover and to return properly for that troy coil. Keeping that too. Great one for parks.
But I like the racer and racer 2 design. Instead of buying one of those I'll hold off until the impact comes out. Then I'll have a nice stable going!!!
Can't wait for official news on it!

It would be good if you did get away from that S handle and use the pistol grip on the impact. I still have my eye out waiting for the release.

The scale on top looks like the scale on the red racer . I hope it has the expanded I'd like on the racer 2

yep seen that also, the GR has the 40 iron disc which is no biggy but a coin hunter needs solid disc to be considered at the top as a coin hunter.

Yes let them take all the time they need .......I have already blown my detector budget on the R2 and acces., now i want the Fors Relic and if the Impact comes out !!!!

Oh well !! Damn budgets are only a suggestion......no one says ya have to follow it

my budget is zero for detectors in the foreseeable future they could bring out a 300 freq machine and I still cant have it

so I will just come on here an annoy people

I hear ya Amberjack, .... Well your just gonna have to explain to the Wife that new fridges, stoves , washer and dryers, ya know silly stuff, aren't in the budget and the old ones work fine and also explain how Metal Detectors are the exception to the Rule and really are a necessity item.

Season has begun, I hope it's soon, or they wait until next year. Hopefully the former.
I'm the type that I'd I don't get it until september, I'll be out in the snow just to use it!! Lol

Our season in AZ is ending! Except for early morning and late evening. No fun detecting in 110+* heat. It begins again in Oct here. So, a September release would be perfect....for me.
