    No depth on coins

    I had the same problem with two V3s. Adjusted till the cows came home and never saw deeper than four inches, pinpoint depth off all the time. Mysteriously, with the old V3, all my old coils worked just fine, I could even use TX boost with the Bigfoot coil! Wow, I got lucky, all my coils...

    Thats the rough equivalent of a $700 price drop in 9 months! You get a $250 detector for free, a $100 upgrade for free, and $500 off the original price. Good for you, but wow. I be buying the upgrade, glad to know my detector will be top of the line for years to come. Taterhead

    Pinpoint problems & Ground balance question

    be sure you Squeeze the pinpoint trigger when you are off to the side of the target. If u putthe coil right on the target or almost on it, itmay seem to disappear. Were you already sitting with the coil right on the target when u squeezed the trigger? Maybe this will help u I hope. Taterhead

    I thought Rob's avatar was just something from the Whites Web Site. With my somewhat imprecise memory, it simply looks to me like White's trademarked symbol combined with their copyrighted name probably somewhere on the V3 marketing materials. I can certainly see why anyone loving whites...
