Tesoro Mojave?

You guys must have some very special Troy X2 detectors.
The only detector I have ever owned that could hit a 12" quarter is my Minelab CTX and Etrac, and they can only
Do it with large 15 or 17 inch coils.
To pull off detecting a 12" quarter with a Troy X2 you would have to have almost 0 mineralization or be able to air test
a quarter out somewhere around 15" which I find hard to believe.
None of the Troy detectors I owned (2- X2 and 2-X5) could pull off a 12" quarter in the ground. I must have had a a real bad run
of Troy's.

nothing special about mine other than being modified like the X3 and X5 . my soil here in the area I hunt in is not mineralized and is pretty clean other than the normal trash items and yes I have hit quarters at 10 inches my best find ever was a silver dollar at 13 inches in damp soil in north Texas with my X2

I would also have the troy x5 checked out also it should hit a quarter with ease at 15 inches unless you have crappy dirt. i have almost no minerals where i hunt. The Mojave is a nice detector but i will not compete with my x2 in good ground maybe in bad ground as i have never checked. My x5 is rly hot i can airtest a nickel at 19-20 inches. My last x5 only tested at 16 inches. I know other parts of the us minerals can change for the worse . I think maybe your minerals must be to high,
