Pinpointer Brand :help:

Yeah... I always buy my bananas at one store and my canned goods at another. Makes perfect sense.

Your banana loss-leaders are a way to trick you in the door. You've just been fed a line of "American Way" malarky that they weren't making enough money and had to suck it up and lower the price by .14 cents a pound so they could sell more. LIttle did you know the soda you picked up while you were there was .16 higher than last week. OR Maybe you spent .45 in gas and went to Poor Boy's for the soda. You have an incorrect, albeit interesting, view of business in America. The idea is to make as much money as possible... it's the selfishness that makes capitalism work and it's awesome!

The car industry ALSO has manufacturer approved pricing and oddly enough they call it MAP ... and, get this, they have an MSRP. SUPRISE! When you go in and do the bogus-heckle-dance for the lowest American way price - they get right to about $800 above MAP to cover overhead while making the same profit as everyone else, and if they have to go lower, you get suprise additions like transportation, gas, storage, etc. Neither of those prices are set by the Government or owned by the collective (no wait - I take that back in the case of GM). And YES, I would go to the dealer closest to my house, armed with the MAP and offer thm $500 above it - we'd talk a while and settle on about $300 more. It's a charade.

Your statements have nothing to do with opinion. Opinions are, "I like RED Ferraris" or "Chicks with big butts ROCK".... opinions never are "2 + 2 = 9" or "the earth is flat" OR get this one "Socialism is when manufacturers set pricing for the goods they sell" Those things are what most refer to as incorrect.

Educate yourself and then when you cry "SOCIALISM" you'll understand the real threat so you're not focusing on pinpointers and bananas.

Consider supporting the hobby so that your best-priced pinpointer doesn't require you to "remove the batteries and tape them to the side so you can hear the speaker" ............... your words. The Pro-pointer is outselling the F-Point because it's a better device - THAT is capitalism. By your reasoning of capitalism though, the F-Point being cheaper should be selling more and somehow be a better product.

Well now It's my opinion that your opinion is partly correct about opinions but partly wrong. You see when you state your opinion about what an opinion is that opinion is just your own rudimentary opinion and doesn't have to be everybodie's or anybodie's opinion except your own. So in this case, everyones opinion about the Garrett PROPOINTER was Good opinions. Close examination has shown my opinion about that product was a little under-opinioned and has indeed caused my opinion about the unit to change. I can understand now why the opinions of owners was so high. However I still stand on my opinion that making the price a fair trade item for all actually causes both the marketers and the manufacturers to loose money, but that's just my opinion, and I'm sticking to it!

Let's stay "on topic"......pinpointer brands.

Sorry.... this crap is maddening and it's all over the web. How in the world did so many conservatives become so misguided. We've been duped.

The Propointer is the best no-motion, all metal, pinpointer I've used. I swear I'm getting much more than the 1.25" being cirulated in a certain youtube video. I actually paid more than $127.50 because I bought it early (and I didn't get a book with it )

The Sunray makes my detector look cooler though :)

Ah, your sound reasoning and "opinions" know no bounds

The first BFO detectors cost about $400 in 1975. Adjusted for 2009 inflation they' should be about $750. BUT you can get one now for about $50!!!!! MAJOR SCORE FOR YOU!!! You'll show those socialist pigs how you can sniff out a deal in the American free retail market and then kick major arse at your local park with your shiney BFO. Look at you go - beanie with the chopper blades and all.
