New from Fisher

as long as it put it where it belonged in the audio and TID. Most places I hunt I dig it all but when I am after coins only that becomes a pain the rear. Hopefully you are right Paul and the freq is in the C$ range. Or like I just posted on another forum, maybe they should just put out a DD coi lfor the C$ and be done with it.
Not really a true hump, just appears that way from the cover over it.
But if you were to guess based on the location of it, what would you say it was?
Could be a set of headphones resting on the arm rest area. It looks too high to just be an arm rest.

& Yes, the pig under the blanket is real. But for me, if I wanted another 7khz unit I'd just keep my Coinstrike & pass on this new one (unless it had a trigger & that DD coil) :) I'd like a unit with at least double digits khz like maybe 11 or more, & agree that DJ prefers higher. Remember the C$, Edge, Excel were designed by Fisher's newer European engineer who seemed to like to work in the 6-7 range...

You can trust us...we will not spill the beans to the other forums. How about pulling that cover back some more and let us see what is under it...have faith in us! Kelley (Texas) :)

I sure wish I could, but remember these forums are also monitored by the manufacturers.
I cannot take the chance to lose my dealership over loose lips.
Please understand, but I at least I took the chance to tell you that something is coming that is very good, when I can say more, believe me I will.
Keep your eyes peeled okay!!
Thanks, have a great upcoming weekend.

I hope it has dual frequency like the Cz's. That way I know it will work in the salt, as well as inland. And I hope it has a trigger pinpoint as well. I am holding out on new detector until I see what this unit is. I am sure as we get closer to the holidays a few more manufactures will release some new machines.

Yea, just another multiple frequency detector is nothing new. I have always been impressed with Fisher since way back it the late sixties. I recall they pulled together a new design team and came out with some nice equipment than reorganized again and up game the foundation for the current fine machines.

Do you any idea on the price range? I don't mind waiting as long as the steak is worth the money.

Maybe they're using some of that ingenious Bounty Hunter technology.

I have the new T2 detector, designed by Dave Johnson and built by First Texas. Bounty hunter is in there though. If you are keeping a name between you and a great... anything. I'd say "Don't judge a book by it's cover". The T2 is nothing short of amazing. Go to the forum and find bad comments, I mean try to. If the next fisher has some of it's technology under the hood, well then, imo that would be like two of the better auto makers sharing technology. I'm looking forward to the next Fisher...

By the way, the T2 appears to be one of the quickest detectors (recovery and separation) out there. I don't care about the name, I have a Nautilus IIB and went to a T2. I won't let a past mistake nor name keep me from discovering the next great (or beast ;)
Peacefully,
EMS

Very well said, I appreciate your comments. WE all have to really give any new detector a chance and learn it, and work with it, to find out its capabilities, and what it was designed to do, and not do.
I myself am looking very forward to it, as I will be using it.
