New from Fisher

So how does this new detector work? I hear it really blankets the ground. Looks like trying to sweep it might feel more like Bullfighting than detecting. I dunno. That might just be me though. HH

Is it a Fisher or a rebranded Tek??

Hey my friend, how are ya? Long time no talk. Nice coin there!! Okay, all I can say for now, it will be a Fisher!!
Take care, and find more of those coins.

Indeed a mixture of two technologies just might surprise a lot of us...Still like the idea of a CZ with a 1-100 meter idea myself...

THIS GET EVERY ONE EXCITED LIKE ITS COMIN NEXT WEEK. BUT I REMEMBER THE EDGE -ID WAS ANNONCE AND WE WAITED 3 MORE MONTHS. SAME DEAL. +WONT EVEN MENTION HOW LONG FOR A SMALL COIL. SO HOW LONG? EARLY 2007?

I know we've all been curious about what the future for Fisher holds. If they can really get something out for X-mas that will be a huge plus! Also, it's the 75th anniversary, a big hobby milestone. I'd presonally like to see a Fisher/Technetics hybrid, as I love both the T2 & C$.....

No need to reply but I'll bet the farm it has a DD coil, This may be Bill Ladd's future flagship detector :)

I've never tried fisher before until I got the CZ 3D and EXCEL.
The Excel is a fun machine with good depth and really like the lightness of it. But it needs more work, perhaps another tone to differentiate from pulltab to coin.
But the Cz 3d I'm absolutely crazy about. Great great depth and the unique tone ID on coins and the accuracy of the meter is Ideal.
I also have an EXP II and DFX. And once I came to understand the different sound of the CZ 3D, The DFX quickly became a third stringer.
The CZ 3D and EXP II in my opinion were made for each other. When ever the EXP II is not happy at a site (which is rare) the CZ3D steps in and performs beautiful. And when the CZ 3D is not happy at a site (which is rare) the EXP II steps in and performs beautiful.
I actually have 4 other machines of different makes and there all gathering dust. I haven't found anything that the EXP II and CZ 3D can't handle together.
Anyway to make a long story a little longer. I hope the new detector will stay along the lines of the CZ 3D. cause it's a real winner.
Maybe the new detector will come out with a digital screen and DD coil. Then knowing Bounty Hunter they'll name it something stupid like
"R2 T2 3D DD" or maybe they'll just call it a TEXAS INSTRUMENT like their calculators. The music died the day Bounty Hunter (Texas) aquired Fisher. HH
