My most meaningful coin find ever. It's "priceless" to me:angel:

Thank you so very much for sharing that with us
And putting out there. Keep that merc close to you!

Wow, that is touching! Gave me chills a bit. Thanks for sharing. Not nearly as endearing as your story, but the ONLY silver I have ever found was several years ago with my father by my side on Father's day at his place at the beach. I gave it to him and he still has it.

Lost my father in 1996 and then my mother a year later... It's a horrible feeling. I was only in my early thirties at the time, a grown man, and forever an orphan going forward... I went through many different emotions and coping mechanisms... it takes a while, but you do come out the other side... I too had a moment in time that I could not explain, but can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that my mother came back to me with a sign that all was as it should be... There is more than just our 5 senses my friend, just as there is more after life... I'm quite sure you know that now.

By the way, I always had an interest in metal detecting growing up, but never got into it until my parents were gone... One of the reasons I love the old stuff so much is for the feeling and connection I get with the present and the past... the living and the ones that have passed. Regards, V-man

Thats Awsome....God Rocks

Your mom wil always be with you and someday you'll be in her arms again...

May her spirit watch over you and yours all your days until you dwell in the house of the Lord forever..

Bryce, a mother's love is eternal, and her spirit will always be within you. I don't doubt for a second that she steered you towards that Merc.

My mom was born in 1919...and I know mintages for pennies at all the mints were high in 1919...but the number of 1919 pennies I find is far beyond any expectation based on mintages.

I don't use a detector from down under, but I know they are top-notch and I enjoy dropping by this forum now and again.

And I appreciate the way this forum is run. Bryce, you are a credit to Minelab and our hobby.
