Thanks so much Jeff. I remember the pine tree shilling you found....what an incredible dig. I can honestly say I know exactly where you're coming from about the medal you found. After finding this dime...no way I would ever part with it. In fact...I am going to have a nice heavy 14k mounting made for it so I can wear it on my chain. Nice tattoo by the way. I have a similar...but smaller one on my right pec. Talk about a little pain....yikes

Thanks Neil. I appreciate the kind words...but I don't think I was strong...just lost and looking for a moment of sanity.I truly felt like i was going to explode from depression. I can definately realate to the "blur" you are speaking of. It all still seems like a blur...to this day.
What I do remember though...is the warm feeling...the ray of light...and the calm that came over me for that moment in time when that shiny thing came out of the hole. Take care...and thanks for responding.

Thanks Duane. Your kind words have gotten me choked up again. I too know in my heart it was dropped by her. I plan on mounting it in a nice 14k setting and wearing it on my chain. That way I will always be close to my heart.
I too have many days when i want to pick up the phone and call her...but then I remember I can't do that anymore.
I can still "talk" to her though...and I know she can here me.
