General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Roy, General is a great digger, and only when we take him detecting, not at home. The only problem is, he digs the holes I just got done filling..........:laugh: Believe me I have tried to get him to sniff out the silver too, I let him sniff every silver that I dig. I just does not sink in........:shrug:....or silver does not have a smell.

For those of you that haven't met General yet...............
 
I seen a article on tv about them sniffing out some types of cancer. Like Larry said no smell on silver. Was a good idea any way. Hey Del I have a silver schnauzer but he won't dig silver. Just moles.

Nice dog Larry.---How old is General & how much does he weigh?----Love those sun shades!--------Del
 
Hey Dave, you should've run the detector over where they were scrathing ,they may have smelled smothing even could have been buried by a person.....It seems when my dogs dig there after something or smell something........it could be just an unusuall smell or something like that.......you never know is my point.
 
General is a 2 year old Boxer Del and weighs a little over 80 lbs, he has leaned out a little bit from is normal 90. He had knee surgery a month ago when he blew his ACL so he has slowed down a lot and eating less, but using his leg so everything looks like it will turn out OK. It takes about three months to heal good enough so he can run again.....he loves to run.
 
Hope everything turns out OK for General, Larry.----I'm sure it will--he will be running again before you know it.---He's a fine looking dog---the wife & I love animals.-------Del
 
I'll tell you another beach one.........I was getting a strong signal,dug it out of the sand....wow it was a pellet gun stock broken off and rusty as I was carring it to a near by trash can a guy hollers out at me.....You can't have a gun on da beach.hahaha........hh..........Dan
PS I have clean a lot of trash off the beach...
 
I tried hunting a beach once. People kept pushing me back into the water.:shrug:
 
Sorry I'm a little late on responding to this but Hunting Sand Sharks ? With a detector ? That's gold Elton !! I was laughing so hard I was crying. Hope you don't mind Elton but next time I get to the beach, I'm using that one.

I hear you Elton. I'll wait until I run across a "good target" that's being just a LITTLE bit too distracting before I launch the counterattack. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the perfect comeback !
