For you coinshooters out there a better explanation of Per Coin Value>

If anyone has older parks , especially that are not hunted, and with so many clad it probably is not hunted much. If one would go to an older park and not dig any coins less than say 4" they probably would start coming up with some older coins. Your numbers would not be nearly as great but the older coins would make up for that. We all dig clad but that is not what we are after. Don't mean to get in the middle of anything....Jack

I found about $125 in clad without a metal detector. They were all in my apartment when I cleaned up after 10 years of living there LOL.

That is not bad either...I am over 5300 coins now and $360 in clad....but I guess or hope your back did not get as sore picking up those coins in your apartment.

At least you get to metal detect in the parks. Here in Maryland there are laws specifically banning metal detectors in public parks. You can't get a permit unless you're an archeologist. The only place to MD in Maryland are the beaches and private property.

Sore back from cleaning the apartment and moving LOL. I did find some silver in that bunch too. Silver quarters and dimes, and a bunch of wheaties too LOL. Even one british coin that must have fell out of my coin collection.

I dunno what it is with me and change but it seems they pile up on me no matter where I move to. I already have another popcorn tin worth of change I collected since I've moved to maryland last year after I coinstared the first bunch.
