F75 vs LTD field tested differences

It is obvious R-bass that you have not had a F 75 LTD in your hands. You would be quite fortunate, I suspect, with whatever detector you are swinging to be able to honestly state you can hunt over 5" tall grass and still dig coin size targets at 6" and more of depth or consider even digging a signal 9-10" or more deep. I can and have done these things in the boost mode and that does make the F 75 LTD worth $1200.00 and it is pretty darn easy to use as well. You really should give one a try. Your recoveries might get a boost as well. HH jim tn
 
There should be a boost song called boosting in the rain, but there something missing here why not make it boost all the time!!! or have a boost to boost the boost!!!! i have a coin strike that i use does very well i like the fisher
MD"s but the F-75 ltd is just a F-75 with out the Boost what happens when you are not in boost mode!!! you just have a F-75.. that's stupid .Most minelabs go deep with out the boost the Nautilus comes to mind very deep with out the boost. In the end why not make it go deep in the first place? a gimmick to take your MONEY next year fisher is coming out with the new F-75 called the double boost
 
Some times im here or there but this is not about Whites vs fisher or bash the F-75.. Ignorance is in a nut shell or did i bring up Whites at any time or SAY V3 you did not i.
The F-75 is a great MD but the logic for the BOOST ltd does not make cense they should have made the F-75 go deep in the first place.As for nuts no im crazy
 
The F 75 when it first came out, in fact, was a very deep seeking detector. Deeper then any detector a couple other brands I know of had. The boost mode, though, isn't all about added depth. Again, if you can get your hands on one, give one a try and you will see. As most in this hobby are aware, technology is constantly improving and one of the improvements of the F 75 from when it first came out is now a more powerful mode. Why didn't the MXT or DFX when they first came out have everything that the V 3 now has? Perhaps because all that technology wasn't yet developed, do you think? HH jim tn

R-bass, hopefully this will make sense to you.

When your first post on the :fisher: forum is saying negative things about the LTD, its' users and the manufacturer, you're going to get a negative response.

It would be the same if I went on your usual forum and started saying negative things about a :whites: detector without having used the machine, the folks there would rip me a new one. And rightfully so.

As Jim said, the reason the boost process wasn't in the original F75 is because it's new.

So what happens to all these people who bought a F-75 !!!! Then Fisher come out with a new never seen before break through in technology called boost.I would be pissed if i had the F-75 then found out Fisher then added one upgrade just one not two or three just one upgrade just a boost.Call fisher and send in your F-75 and tell them you want your Boost up grade.There are a lot of F-75 owners out there thinking the ltd is better and now the F-75 is obsolete from just one boost. Who would want the F-75 now with out the Boost no one .....AND again i never Brought up WHITES METAL DETECTORS HERE YOU DID, BUT ONE THING I CAN SAY IS YOU DO POST A LOT ABOUT WHITES METAL DETECTORS HERE THIS WE CAN AGREE ON
 
R-bass, once more I'll set the record straight.

The LTD actually has two new modes, not one. Boost and cache.

And the original F-75 is not obsolete, if you look at the prices used ones are currently fetching you'll see you're wrong again when you say no one would want one "without the boost."

For the record, an original F75 that goes off at auction in over 2 days now has 17 bids and is currently over $1,000.

Good luck trying to find a new F75 at the MAP price of $999. Again I'm talking about the original, not the LTD.

To correct you again (geez, how many times can one person be wrong?), I don't post about Whites detectors a lot. The only reason it came up was because almost all of your posts have been on that forum. And I said you bashing the LTD on this forum would be the equivalent of me going to your regular forum and bashing a detector I never used.

If I did that then I would be the tool.

Well here we go again My post had nothing to do with WHITES or my posting on WHITES like i said .The boost and cache are the same fisher has fooled you in that point.I bet you have a F-75 and went out and got the LTD just for the boost that's a shame you paid all that money on the F-75 that fisher made obsolete when they came out with the same MD with just boost???? and people are calling the ltd a new MD no i don't think so fisher screwed the F-75 community with the ltd. Tell fisher you want your boost and thank them for making the F-75 obsolete compared to the F-75 LTD with just boost.

Have you actually TRIED an F 75 or the new LTD? I used the F 75 for two yers and loved it. I jumped at the chance to own the new LTD and couldn't be happier. Fisher did NOT fool us into buying in on an obsolete unit. Does Ford of GMC fool everyone with a new model every year? I'm sure Fisher will come out with new models this year that will be even better. It sure beats what Tesoro does. What was thier last new model? "Old" technology has it's place. Ask the guys who relic hunt with a Nautilus. That technology is the same as what they came out with in the '80s. The original F 75 is a great machine. The LTD is the next generation and is evey better. I'm frankly getting tierd of your Fisher bashing. You argue that it's not really deeper, just louder. If you can find deeper objects with the LTD because you hear it better, then what's the difference?
