Cazador situation??

Geez thought I was testing the 2nd proto type. I must have the 3rd, as the Caz is now also has Star Trek Technology. A HaloDeck that will have you hunting a storyline and finding tons of good stuff, choose between Relic, Coin, Beach Hunting. Since it is all connected to the Internet by Tesoro Satellite you can get instant gold and silver, rare coin value. With a press of a button the Caz will transport by materializing the precious metal, rare coin to the refiner, coin dealer that will pay the highest $$ amount. Seconds later your payment will be deposited into your bank or Paypal account. Talk about a detector that pays for itself. You can collect air miles for every pulltab you find. Oh yeah, when your tired from detecting and want to rest under a tree for awhile, you can watch Tele-Tubbies on the Caz Screen. For you older folks, there's the Three Stooges and Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. The s-handle hold 8 oz. of your favorite beverage, cork plug in back of the arm cuff. Since the Caz uses tremendous amount of energy, a new type of small button size atomic crystal battery was developed for it. That also supplies power for processor cooling, which exhausts cool air. Perfect for those hot days, surrounds the operator in a blanket of 70 degree air. Talk about hunting in comfort. For safety hunting in wild west city locations or night hunting, a great feature is the cloaking device, no one will ever see you hunting. You need to sign a Gov't release form you won't use this feature for illegal purposes. A back up safety device is the Phaser, has three settings, only one is operational "Stun " mode. Just raise the coil at some thug and press the Phaser button once. To use the other two settings you need to take a Gov't approved Phaser course to get your license to use. Hidden in the sub-menu system is a mode that will deactivate the Phaser control and change it to crowd control. When being bugged by kids or others, it lets out a cloud of odorific gas-- human, skunk, etc. The Caz I have looks similar to what was pictured but has a larger battery box under the armcuff like a Tejon. It's actually a storage compartment, tissue paper, band-aids, etc. for those times you really need them.

Remember Nathan saying they Tesoro was working on several (2) new units. Forget about the Caz, what about the second unit being developed, not yet named?
It's Stealth unit, control box worn on your wrist, display screen is beamed onto your eye glasses lower portion of the lenses like a bi-focal. Blue-tooth earphone buds.
Search coil beacon is worn around your head or hat that transmits into the ground. You can can look like your walking normally looking down, like we always do. If some one spots you digging a hole for no reason and wants to know what your doing, just explain your digging for worms and grubs to use as bait when you go fishing. Or just tell them your dirt fishing, you already caught a few keepers, they will leave you alone, since they will think your nuts.

Tesoro is on the right track...............the Caz is a full featured machine.

I dont have a habit putting in responses on here..,,.I have owned new and used detectors from all manufactuers. You might say I been around the block a few times in this great hobby of ours. All the rumors about tesoro maybe makes great forum chat, but lets be honest.I think the biggest worry is the hobby itself.Towns and states are putting the hammer down on our hobby.Theres a alot of newbes that need to be educated.I do what ever I can to teach a new person thats just starting out to learn how to dig and cover their holes. If tesoro does indeed go down the tubes,Its not the end of the hobby. Its the people that dont abide by the rules that will put an end to the hobby.Just my 2 cents ..,,.

I got this from a compass forum. Don't know if le git. Tesoro managment supposedly announced on facebook they were going ahead with cazador. Maybe look like this???

That is a cheap China piece of crap copy of the new Caz. It's time I let the cat out the bag. I have been field testing the 2nd proto type Caz for about 6 weeks now. Rusty is gonna be ticked at me for telling you this but enough is enough. The new Caz has a much larger 9" hi resolution icon based touch screen. It has full Wi-Fi and Bluetooth ability. Each new detector will come with a 3 month free trial of Netflix. The new display shows high res. shape and size images. With the new hybrid variable freq scanning sequencer circuit being used it CAN easily identify gold rings for trash and this clearly passed on to the operator via the flashing high res. screen display message that simple says "Bingo- Gold Ring!" In usual Tesoro fashion it's only one tone, but with the high res icon based touch screen imaging I have found that it is not really necessary. Depth is insane!!!! To test transmit power the manual says to place a raw hotdog on the ground and hold the coil approximately 12" above the hotdog and then turn the power on. Your power settings are correct if the hotdog is cooked withing 12.6 seconds. I know what your gonna ask- Who in the hell carries a stopwatch with them while detecting? Guess what, it's built into the high res icon based touch screen!! You gotta love it! So far I am impressed with all aspects of this detector.

Cupholders...one of the most important features needed so I have to know if they added them.
Also since Tesoros are so fast I assume this one will be even faster.
Does it have a wing on the back to help keep it in the ground when swinging?

Sorry to revive a sinking thread but something has been nagging me here. We need to get serious. Why are features like a coffee cup holder keep getting brought up? Do you have any idea how ridiculous that suggestion is? First, the cost of a self leveling, gyroscopic device is staggering. You are looking at $1000.00+ dollars even if it is made in China; more than $1300.00 if made in Japan. Forget the U.S. We shipped our technology out of the country. Then, you have to add the cup holder; another $400.00 for an adjustable one that goes from 0 oz. to sixteen oz. The Big Gulp model has the antigravity software built in so you are looking at $800.00 additional dollars. Minelab is the only manufacturer that makes batteries to run the device. You are looking at another $400.00 (rechargeable) for an 8 pound battery strapped around your waist! Adding a cup holder would put the top of the line Tesoro in the same price range as the best VLF Minelabs & Garretts. Now how could Tesoro remain competitive with other detectors sporting color screens that display probability? Let's keep it simple!

That's easy, there are 4th world countries with a population of people that can live on even less, who are excellent craftsman and can still take pride in their work with work with their hands.
They also receive lots of foreign aid.

LOL!

I had no idea of the technology needed to implement this feature.
Very well, let us hope the new one will just be...great!

I will just deal with the refreshment issue in my old standby low tech way.

Yep. You're so witty. Nailed me to the wall.

It would be really nice if Tesoro would release another update just to keep those of us actually interested in buying a Caz, if and when they come out, from going even more insane than we are.

Tesoro did give an update, on 21 October, 2014 in a thread titled "Starting to hear that the Cazador is a no go". The post was posted by TesoroMD, and I think it is on about page 4 of the thread.

When it comes out the same people will complaint that the price is too high.
