General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

anyone have a metal detector thay can Donate?

I have had two transactions with Morris and I will tell you that I am happy. I've sent Morris cash each time and always received what I had ordered.:)
Would I send cash to others, NO, but after reading his posts on different sites it was very easy size him up as being honest. Thanks, Morris
 
I know of you from my Uncle (Elton) and he thinks highly of you. Thanks for pointing out some issues you felt were important.
Asking for something for children is very honorable, But I think, the two different post,on two different forums and other things raised a flag or two.
You felt there was a potential problem, and aired it. I, and I am sure others appreciate your efforts.

I would think a 9, or 12 year old would be most happy with a Bounty Hunter, or even a Realteck if it were given to them.

So for the sake of all...................Lets just hope all turns out well for everyone.

keep someone from being ripped off or being scammed this Botybay has not been on this forum long enough to pass judgment on me.

Ok this is on the lighthearted side :buds: .... The two boys needing detectors are on the trampoline :punch: .... first the one boy hears he is getting one (yellow shirt) :clapping: , then the boy with the glasses reads all the arguing and says I want one too! :shrug:
Once the arguing continues the third boy in the red shirt...appearing a little shy says don't forget me :blowup: ...now the arguing really flares up :rant: ...but its not over yet! (See picture) the fourth boy says "what the hell" starts to crawl onto the trampoline and says I am in for either a SE or a DFX.............:clapping: :detecting:

Yeah two of them and they are always asking for those $20 to $50 video games. I told them when I was a kid I would be lucky to get a $1 hot wheel once every few weeks! Oh well!! :goodnight:
 
OK guy's I do Random Acts Of Kindness from time to time generally in a very quiet way, I do appreciate the concern that members have for the integrity of the forums and looking out for each other. I sent Morris a pm offering to help out because I can and do things like that from time to time but in a quiet way and should have pointed that out to Morris at the time, as I seek no recognition for what I do. I guess seeing as how this has gone somewhat sideways from the purpose which was to be discrete and quiet for me and just know that I've helped someone out in a humble way my thoughts. I think the fact that Morris pointed out that an offer was made to get him a detector suggests that he wasn't looking for multiple detectors. So when some others offered to step up he was clear that one had been offered that say's alot. Do I know Morris no, does it matter no, Morris is not the first person to ask if someone can step up to the plate, maybe some day Morris and I will have coffee who knows, Bootybay is a fine person as is Morris and Gregg, PaPa-Joe, and the others on the forum 99.9 % are fine, just the odd one that might be a problem. My kids have enjoyed a good life and sharing a little from time to time is a good thing to do, I think its great if the kids can learn detecting from Morris and grow to like the hobby as much as we do but time will tell no expectations. I really would rather not see anyones feelings get bruised over my choice to help out it really is a small thing that I offered. Dan
PS what I consider my home forum place is canadianmetaldetecting.com but I'm on all the sites lots of good info and nice people. Dan
 
Bootybay, ,Always wanting to start problems with some one or something. That is no big deal.You need to change your id to Drama Queen. Last week you started with me . This week it is Morris. GET A ------- LIFE. An stay out of others. Im sending Morris a detector thats been hanging a round ideal for a 9 year old. Peace out or what ever you al say in New jersey. COTTON

Your the only one b.tch-in about Morris on this forum & other's.I do not know Morris but it sure look's like He has a lot of support & good feedback.A good deed is left unpunished.i hope the moderator's see the negative post's by ONLY You and delete them....Morris,this is a good thing You are doing to help these kid's out! :clapping:

Morris, I am thrilled your getting detectors for the boys.. It doesnt matter how I feel, its not my business.. as for your two good buddies, trashing me.. I really dont care, Cotton, you have only been here 14 days or whatever, gee, what did I do to start with you last week, mind telling me that one... Drama queen, I think NOT... more like warning signs of a POSSIBLE scam came up.. if you cant see that, then I feel sorry for you.. see, I really dont care what folks think of me or what they say, I was only putting out warning signs, but again why bother going into that one, since you apparantly all have your own opinion. Drama queen, I think not.. that did crack me.. if caring about folks is drama.. then you need to get a life as well.. like I said.. I don't give a hoot what you think Cotton...I am so glad I made you feel like the big gun here..

and for the LAST time... I am done with YOUR drama..
 
bootbay...I can tell one thing for sure from your posts that would discredit you. Can't take you for your word. About three times you said you were 'done' posting about this subject, but alas, here you post again. To me, one with integrity does what they say they will do. Regards!

Morris, I think you did a kind service to the detecting community by getting them boys a detector. One thing about it GOD knows, he will bless you for your good deeds.:thumbup:

Bootbay, you should be ashamed of yourself! By reading your post: I think you should fall on your knees and ask GOD for forgiveness for your non trusting nature. One thing in life you should learn is to let GOD do the judging!

A man like Morris will have great rewards ahead of him for his kind heart. I just hope if I pass before my kids grow up that there's a caring man around to help them.
