I live in Pa, but like I mentioned before the stock deep silver program running single freq they ID correctly. I do notice that when I check for the quietest freq the 2.5 is lways the best, seems freq offsets don't help the other two at all. Just this morning I hit on a sinc, 4 " down it kept...

    Depth and Accuracy...with the v3i

Magic, using Your program as well, I get a good Ground balance, Sens +8-10,AM =65, Disc, 85-88. My ground Probe reading comes in at -93. Now at depth beyond 7 1/2 if I 90 degree the target I will get some more accurate numbers, but the tone is strong from all angles. But Yes 91-93 For the most...

    Depth and Accuracy...with the v3i

Hope someone can help me figure this out. My quarters and dimes at 8 to 81/2 inches are giving me a VDi reading of 91 92 93 with the DD coil, and the950 coil. These coins at 6 to 6 1/2 inches the VDi's are where they should be. This bothers me somewhat on deeper coins, we're talking a 8 to 10...

    1st 2 silvers

This is my second time out with the etrac, went to an old church, found a silver ring near a old tree, and a 1917w Merc. Also $3.17 in clad. Loaded my own deep silver program, worked pretty good. The Merc was down 8.5 " ID was 11-12 "45". Ring ID was 12- "31" at 6". The etrac has been a...

    Beach Hunting

May be taking a trip to the beach with my daughter next month, have 1 question. Watching you tube videos I notice alot of people swing really fast at the beach, this would attribute to using a lower RD, is faster better for beach compared to say a filter of 5.0 and an rd of 65 running slower...

    Need a little help.

Had the same thing happen to me this past summer. Dug around the root, under the root...VDI of 87, Nothing. My friend used his DFX, same thing happened to him, so we figured a coin was embedded in the root itself. Root was 4" round, we didn't damage it to verify.
