    Deep Silver Program...

    Does anyone have any suggestions on what settings are best in real good soil that the moles have kept turned for a long time. I'm gonna hunt a house site that was built in 1796 and I have found a 1808 large cent here. I've only recovered one silver coin which was a 1917 merc. from this location...

    Who is getting deep (coins at 8 inches) and how are you doing it?

    I'm in the same boat. Only getting a positive id on things around 4 inches. I've tried the single frequency trick but keep getting alot of crazy sounds that if I dug them all then I might as well get me a tiller and plow the whole yard up. I'm digging in a yard right now thats turning up coins...

    VDI 54 I don't believe it-silver

    I have noticed that most of my VDI numbers have changed verses the VDI#'s on my MXT. About all pennies come in around the 50's range when only the indian heads did before. Upper 70's for clad dimes and 80's for silver dimes and 83 on silver or clad quarters. got a 50's signal on a silver charm...

    What does this mean?

    I determined that I cannot go by that on deeper targets. It seems that if it's over 3 or 4 inches deep then i can't depend on the graph. Just keep on digging.
