What has been your # 1 detector in years passed

I liked the Troy Shadow X5 for raw power, but it did seem to like iron. I also like the Minelab XTERRA 705 for sofistication.

I guess as far as a beep detector, I would have to go with my Vaquero that I still own... love using it around old house sites.
Very light and quiet until it gets over something good.
Also have a Minelab Advantage that I still use from time to time.
Have made great finds with both!
 
My favorite detector for quick passes is my Treasure Euro saber. After I find an interesting place, I take the "Beast" My Goldscan5

Currently, I am the owner of a Tesoro Euro Saber, Tesoro Silver saber, Minelab Excalibur and Goldscan5
 
I don't see how people like a one tone detector so much?
Tesoro's didn't keep up with technology went belly-up
I have had many detectors over the past 25 years and I still prefer threshold detectors. I don't use beep identification. The threshold gives me a lot of information about where I am. And yes, I dig it all. A simple iron gives me a lot of information about where I am and where I am.
