We restrict the size of pictures for an obvious reason. What are the free software's out there you guys use to optimize the pictures with?

photoscape is so easy to use. u can reduce size of file, crop, color adjust. Free program. Love it. If U need the file send me a PM with your email and I will send U the file to install.
 
I use Linux and GIMP lets me resize. I find that 1200 X xxx is a perfect size for uploading to forums. Gets the photo down to around 300 kb, depending on how big the "xxx" value is. I always make sure that the 1200 is the larger of the two numbers.

I use Fotor it's free and full of features. Works great on resizing images!
 
this is a small program that will all you need in modifying,resizing,coloration it does it all,and its free its all i use for web photos

I use an app called "image sizer" for my iphone & ipad. Works well enough.
 
On my desk top I use a online program called Image Optimizer

Good morning... I used the Irfan View 4.23 for many years- It's free and very easy to use, and you can even add text size, color, position on the picture....

I use http://adionsoft.net/fastimageresize/ It's free, and drop and drag easy.
 
All I do is open the file in Paint and crop and size it and then downsize the image till it can be uploaded. Works like a charm and you can keep the original too!

Posting a pic only accepts one with an http/ address. Mine are on my HD and don't have an address. What about that?

Don't use the URL links icons...use the "Attachments: Upload File..." right above the message box to the left. (with the paperclip looking icon beside it)
You can upload multiple picture files, but there is (of course) a size limit. If you try to exceed that limit, it will warn you...so it's pretty straightforward.

hello I use the cell phone with an app called "escalar fotos" I look for the image and I compress it. so I do them directly from the cell phone without using a computer.
 
For the life of me..I cannot figure out how to pull pictures over from my iPhone10?? I have Photobucket, but haven't used it in many years and for whatever reason ..it won't open?
I haven't a clue.
