Nice coin! Did you notch out all below dime because you were sick of pull tabs?[/quote

Sorry if this is a bit long-winded....More because there are a lot of memorial cents lying around this place. I love to find wheat cents, but once in a while I like to detect without all the noise associated with my usual setting, which is basically All-Metal mode with the first two iron targets notched out. This park is also tough to hunt because anytime someone left beer or soda cans, the person(s) who cut the grass would just run them over instead of picking them up. So there are also 6 billion dime and quarter sized aluminum bits everywhere. I thought I could work around that with my Sniper coil, but this place has about six inches of new fill on top of the original lot. Many, many moons ago,1910-1940, there was a garage with a dance hall on the 2nd floor on this spot and then later from about 1940-1990 it was where the town held it's annual carnival/fair. After they relocated the fair down the road they brought in fill, planted a few trees and made it a park. So in short..lol...everything good is at least 6+ inches down. I think if I had a larger coil (10X14) I coud find more silver, but I would also be contending with all the junk. So in that respect I got very lucky finding that half. Long-winded post, but educational I hope..
