Farmer since I was borne till I was 17 in my Country.
Then I move here to The States in 1981 and worked the farm fields of Central Calif.
After 2 years of field work I became a Driver for few moths then a Heavy Equipment Op.
Then got my self into a Technical College and became Electronic Technician
and since 1986 I have been working as an Electronic Engineer of Office equipment
I work for Sharp Microelectronics, Konica Business Solutions and Canon/ OCE.
my first detector was a CXIII in the 90s (I still have it and works great) been detecting since.

I am a Project Manager for Power Engineers. We design and build Power generation plants, Transmission towers and substations. All types of energy. Wind, Solar, Natural Gas...You name it. if it involves power.. We do it.
 
I am 25 year old (at the time of writing) software engineer with a background in persistent surveillance applications and defense projects. Currently, I work doing medical device protocol translation (both soundway more interesting than they look in person).
 
I pull tandem 48' trailers for a wine and liquor distributor in NY state.

Started out working construction for about 15 years. Now I work at a distribution center as a conveyor technician. I started metal detecting last year, my wife bought me a bounty hunter as a starter machine. Now I use the Garrett Ace 250, last weekend I purchased a Tecnetics Alpha for $50 from someone at work.
 
I have been employed by the Morrison Milling Company since October of 1982 Flour and Cornmeal processing -- i am a maintenance technician --- took up metal detecting on a whim in 1986 --seen a couple of oldtimers in a park --- and thought that would be a good hobby -----bought a Teknetics mark 1 -- still my favorite machine --- Rick Hart
 
Been in the manufacturing of highway guardrail for the past 20 yrs, now in sales selling hot dipped galvanizing service. Seen all kinds of structural steel and down to small plates. Been interested in MDing for years and just purchased a Garrett AT Pro with pin pointer.
 
I've been in the industrial maintenance field for 25 years.
Currently, I'm a maintenance training Coordinator.
 
Just got a Garrett Ace 350 to start this hobby. Other hobbies include restoring my 71 Cuda which is almost complete. Maintenance supervisor with 21 guys under at a metal processing plant in Texas.

Hello! Im kinda new at this but Here goes....
I own a small Taxi/Private Car Service/Touring business up here near Acadia Nat'l Park. Before that I owned and antique store for years in Ellsworth Maine. Ive Been
interested in the detecting hobby for years but just this summer I picked up an older Garrett 350 in great shape shape from a fella and so far have had allot of fun! I haven't found the Maltese Falcon or A treasure Chest yet but I'm working on it.
Other hobby's are restoring vintage electric or manual shop tools, American Brilliant period Victorian Cut glass, Old bottles etc. I wish everyone well and good fortune this "Swinging Season"!.....I know I'M going too!
 
Been an, x-ray tech, battlefield Corpsman, & everything in between. Fighting to get back into physicians assistant school currently.

City of puyallup Washington water dept operator 3. Operate heavy machinery and consider myself a professional digger! Haha. City work is a BIG bonus, cause I'm aware of demos, sidewalk rip ups, and park renewals!!!! Love my job!!!!
 
I am a retired deputy sheriff, 30 years. Work part time for a mall as a security guard. Fairly new to detecting, so I appreciate any pointers or tips.
 
Married 42 years, four grown children. Was a pastor for 28 years. Last 14 years I have been a corporate trainer at Nike world headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon training managers how to be better managers.
 
I am in Sales for a Body Shop in Columbus, Ohio. I served 4 years in the United States Air Force as a Security Specialist. I also enjoy Fishing and Ice Fishing.
