Target ID numbers

Was messing around with the T2+ yesterday, just doing some air test comparisons between it and the Equinox. I really never use the All Metal Mode so I decided to experiment a little with the all metal mode. I have to say that in an air test you can pick up a target such as a coin (king George) at 15+" which is very impressive the only downfall to this is you don't get any target ID Numbers past about 11inches. I'm just wondering why Teknetics hasn't addressed this issue. I don't have a problem with the single tone but I don't like the fact that there is no ID number showing up.

I have only ever used one detector that would give a good target ID number at depth and that was a Golden Mask 7 metal detector and that I was running a 13x11 coil at the time, with the 9.5 inch coil mounted on the GM7 the target IDs were non existent at depth, but with the 13x11 it is very impressive that it gave me stable target IDs

When you get beyond 6" deep those ID # get inaccurate.
If the target stays coin size through the pinpointing rountine that's your best indicator on whether to dig or not to dig.
