Okay, so to help pay for my new Ace 250 I've decided to sell off some of my old coins that I had found as metal detecting as a child. I figured I would put them up on e-bay and was selling my mercury dimes very well. Today was the first feedback I ever got for a sale because it's now been long enough since close of the auction that I could mail something off. This guy bid on 6 of my dimes that all were originally in the coin holders. Because I was afraid they would cause the envelope to catch in the machines at the post office I removed them and carefully wrapped them in paper and a bubble bag so they wouldn't get damaged and they wouldn't be as ridged with staples and thinner. So he doesn't even contact me and gives me negative feedback because he said he bid on 6 individual coins but got 6 loose ones...........
So he got the coins in the condition they were said to be...correct years and dates....just not in the holders that were in the picture. But he DID get the correct coins, great condition. They were never professionally graded either....
So basically he bid on them because they were wrapped in cardboard not for their quality?
But because of his comments it looks like I didn't sell him what he bid on...he got it in a different package and I guess that wasn't what he wanted. However the value of the coins was no different, in my opinion. What makes me mad is that he could have contacted me first so I could have corrected the problem. So I kindly said, if you would like cardboard holders I can send you some...
He should be happy....I didn't even charge him shipping and I know he got a great deal on them because their real values in silver were worth more than he bid.
I guess you just can't please them all
Needless to say, in the future I won't be selling anything else on e-bay. I'm done with what I wanted to get rid of. And by July I'll have a new ACE 250 to keep my mind off of people who just wanna squeeze you for everything they can!
