OK, This Is WAY Off Topic...But Hopefully It Will Be Of Interest To Some...LONG.

Well, Marc...you know what they say..."Pay me now or pay me later." You didn't mention smoking, so that's one bad risk factor you don't have, right?

You know what to do. The detecting is definitely good exercise. Providing you do it right, with plenty of bending over and DIGGING. :)

God works in mysterious ways John, doesn't he. I know what the Bible says, and I'm still wrestelling with salvation, but I'm glad you brought it up because it's pretty darn important when you get right down to it. It's a question and some kind of a decision, at least to deal with it. I've asked Christ into my life but, for some reason, I'm still struggeling with the whole thing. Hope I get it right before I die. I'm glad you brought that up.

Mike, I'm jelous about your weight loss. Are you on the weight watchers program all the time or just to get the initial weight off. Just curious. Right now I weigh 255 and I'm 6'1", but I know I'm over weight. Too much ponch hangin down and not enought muscle. That 182 figure sounds lean and mean. Is it a lot of money to go with the weight watcher diet?

Mike, I have't posted much here recently because of work and family. I still keep my eye on the forum as much as possible. I remember when this event occured. Congrats and I salute you! What I read made me feel good and proud of a fellow metal detectorist.

Hi Mike,
By all means you can call me "pip". My hobby for 18 years, before I discovered MDing, was Ham Radio. N5PIP is my call sign. Sending my call sign in morse code has a nice ring to it. (dah-dit, di-di-di-di-dit, di-dah-dah-dit, di-dit, di-dah-dah-dit).

73 (That's hamspeak for best wishes) & HH,

Stirling, N5PIP
