I think it is a shame that there is no wireless option. After owning both a CTX and Deus being hooked to the machine is a very big negative.

I plan to use my auvio wireless headphones with it park. it even has the smaller 1/8 jack like cell phones use so I wont even need an adaptor for the auvio transmitter

How much delay do you experience that setup? I have heard before that there is some.

with the auvio 33-283 I have experience no lag on any detector I have used them on. I have tried bluetooth setups also and every one I tried stunk. I can honestly say The auvios seem to work as well as the stock setup I had on my deus...

That would depend on what you want to do Bruce. The Go-Find has auto GB Tracking like the 705, but can't change coils or frequencies like Xterras. They come with an 8" concentric coil on the 20, and 10" concentric on the 40/60. All are 7.8kHz, and weight is only 1Kg.

Thanks for the feedback. I was just curious. I haven't even been able to get out with my 705 due to deplorable weather...:sadwalk:

It's clear now that thee Go-Find is not an X-Terra replacement, might want to update the thread heading ...
The Detect America video discussion indicated the ground tracking was derived from the 705 and there was a mention of some design elements being similar to the 305.

On the 60, are there only 4 IDs possible for a target since there are only 4 icons and tones, or are the 5 LEDs giving you another 5 slots within each of those 4 groups? I think I did hear on the video that the LEDs indicate higher conductivity as you move to the right. If that's correct that is 20 distinct IDs.

If I understood correctly it will have same tones and ID as 305 + the ground tracking of the 705 and better beach performance then any X-Terra

I'm guessing that it has unique Noise Cancelling capabilities too, since the 40 & 60 have Bluetooth integration.

I doubt it will be better than the Terra , or they will have succeeded in killing the sales of the Terra's . The Go Find also has not got numbers and less discrim so as far as I am concerned it will be a lesser machine in almost all ways . But it does make you think that the new Terra will probably be similar to the Go Find when or if it comes.

One thing I have noticed , it looks like the Go Find has no coil cover , that will kill coils in the long run and they are hard wired on the Go Find I think , the Ace's that they are going up against are not ! they may be more versatile being able to take bigger coils .

I think the Go Find 60 will trump 305. They also said people have been blown away by beach performance. Lack of coil options will limit its versatility but the coil design is some what unique I have read elsewhere - exact details on how unique are vague.

Still will be a problem if using on the beach on sand and scuffing the sand , without a coil cover that coil will suffer . Without a good target info it will be at a disadvantage too. The 10 in coil on the 40 and 60 may be good though.
It wont match the 705 or the 505 , the 60 may be close to the 305 but then the Go Find is a starter machine . And the price reflects that.
Still I don't mind a starter machine at that price and being better that the Terra 705 , that can only save money till Minelab read this and hick the price up :(

Yea we need to see field test reports. That will tell us a lot.

I wish they had a cheap minelab when I bought my first detector. It's enough to get you into the hobby and it's a good introduction into minelab

The leds only indicate ferrous vs non ferrous. Red for iron, green for everything else.

Only problem is the 20 doesn't have pinpoint mode. But for new hunters it should be great for a starter.
