my 705, nothing but a backup detector

Thanks for the replies everyone! So that's a French Triangle, the shape of the back of a bullet! And thanks for the feedback on the MXT with that good explaination it helps, and also for the F75!

Here is something I have come across for those of you who may want a NON-Metallic carbon fibre straight-shaft for the X-Terra's.

I am not suppose to post some links so I will tell you the name of the company and you can do your own research. I contacted this manufacturing company in Canada last week and they make special order carbon fibre shafts. They have an aluminum straight-shaft on for the X-Terra's BUT if you ask them they may make a special order carbon fibre one if you ask them. This might give us both more depth and sensitivity when Relic or any othe type of hunting with the round 10.5" DD and 9" Concentrics, every little bit helps.

The name of the manufacturing company is Anderson (Detector) Shafts and contact Pete Anderson. I have corresponed with him twice. Kellyco is one of the dealers for them and sells Anderson Shafts.

"Hi. Thanx for your input about the shafts. We have been making carbon fibre shafts for about 6 or 7 months now. They are available for most water machines and an example can be seen on our website......Pete Anderson"

Anderson X-TERRA Shaft - 0827
The Anderson X-TERRA Shaft is 30.5" long with adjustable handle and armcuff. This shaft also comes with an Anderson Stand and instructions. NOTE: Black Only .

I also got this from one of Anderson's dealers:
"Custom shafts can be ordered and are made of full carbon fiber. Yes the Anderson X-Terra upper shaft 0827 can accept the X-Terra control head inside of it."
