Moving this to the top so everyone will be sure to see it.....

Then why are you judging me without knowing me? Is there a double standard - one for clergy and one for everyone else? Loving one's neighbor does not mean liking/loving/tolerating their sins. Why do I need to know him to determine that his self given moniker is prideful and his posts, judgmental attitude and breaking of the 8th Commandment in regard to his comments about other people are offensive? Contrary to TV image makers, clergymen are not hand wringing, milque-toast mamby pambys. When we see puffed up troublemakers, we call them as they are. Sorry if that bothers you. Go back and read #####'s posts from the start - and read them objectively, if you can. A pretty clear picture emerges.

Especially since "The Guvner" that you are referring to is the owner of this site.
So are you the Swaggart type or the Bakker type? Benny Hinn maybe?

I'm glad that I could entertain a few people. Well, it's not the first time I stuck my foot in my mouth. And I still think it is Third Gradish to use these aliases. What's the problem with a person using their real name - what a concept.
No, not like Swaggart - I don't like hookers. Not like Bakker - I haven't swindled anyone. Not like Hinn - I haven't swindled anyone. We conservative Lutherans let the Baptists do those sort of crazy things. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">

That's the ELCA. I belong to the Missouri Synod. Sadly, such "men" are found in every denomination. Sin knows no barriers. I don't even want to think about the vengeance God will bring upon them. Ugh.
Now, throughout the midwest are a lot of old Lutheran Churches and schools - they really payoff in terms of metal detecting. Most Missouri Synod churched held mission festivals in the 1800s. That included ice cream stands and pie stands. If you can find the location of those, you can find lots of good coins. I found a whole load of Barber dimes one time that way. It about blew me away.
