More question on the Vortex

Just playing around with my V9 when I have a little time and trying to get to know it before I have to use it which will be a while from the looks of it.
I just purchased the wireless headphones of Garrett with the Garrett pin pointer so I can hear everything though my headphones, I got the one that has the transmitter even though I dont think I will need it on the V9 as I understand the transmitter is built in being it is a Garrett. Now I got it paired up, but notice the volume is weak sounding with the volume control max and the volume on the V9 at max. I was hoping it would be as loud as the speaker was. Might be jut my hearing as I am hard of hearing. I wonder if Garrett make a adapter I can use reg wired headphone on it? I also notice on the probe I feel the vibration, but dont hear anything on the Headphone, maybe it is very high pitch as I am completely deaf in high tones. I been looking to see if the tones can be changed to lower the tones if this is the case. I do hear the beep to get into the setting on the probe, but wave a coin in front of the probe I just get a vibration and no audio, or none I can hear.
I am surprised that we dont see many post on this new Garrett as many were waiting for theirs to show up, maybe they too are learning it, but the field tester should be responding and let us know some of the things they have learned about this detector.

Just got to work with it a bit indoors and learn more about it as it is just too cold up here in ND to even go outside.
