HERE IT IS !! FBS2 water proof with screen

http://www.ctx3030.com/

I guess so 8 more days to find out more i see a full color water proof screen ,what looks like a new 11 or 12 inch minelab coil , must be a USB cord for GPS uploads , wireless head phones , coil wire runs up inside the shaft just like a e-trac , maybe the FBS2 is a improved version

That is pricey iam happy with what i have GT and DFX anything deeper not worth the time and effort unless i was a ground hog :detecting: Jim

Well I guesss someone at Minelab is getting fired becaused that SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say that this is close to a 4000 machine. I would rather have had an upgrade to the excal II. But...for the hunter that would like a machine that can hunt on land just as good as it can in water...this is the ultimate machine. Anyway. HH and GL all. -Joe

Its a beautiful machine that looks like a waterproof Etrac. My guess that it will cost about $3,000. Too much for me. I will stay with my GT with my Tornado 800 & 1000 coils and Garrett pin pointer. I will still like to get an Excalibur.

With mapping on it, you think the on-board pin pointer will get you closer yet? It will be too rich for me most likely, it has what looks to be good features; but, always beware of version 1.0 ---- bugs will need to be worked out via experience hunting with it, feedback (from people, not wires and EMI), and actual finds.

Still, it appears Minelab has been listening to people about what they would like to see to some extent at least, and that's good. Technology advances, but it still comes down to doing your homework, researching old stories as factually as possible, testing areas, and then finding the goods. You can't find what's not there, no matter how good the machine is.

I just hope people don't start making bigger holes from having to dig a lot deeper...

All that means is it will take 3 or4 months to pay for itself instead of 2 months. Minelab has always been the most costly detectors on the market. Some already surpassing 5 g's
there is a reason for it. They work better than the competitors...........
