Just watched vids on a new detector

like I say to my mate to dig park gold you need at least one screw lose :clapping: I do it because I have several and have found as mentioned some items that are not the norm like a pair of cira 1920's cuff links with collage emblems stuff like that...

my point is that I believe in reward for effort but not usually financial but satisfaction and mostly exercise its near on cardio digging junk for a few hrs .....

yep and I cant tell the difference in sound but I did my own experiment over several months an strip mined a park (soccer ground) never been detected and it was an eye opener and also where the gold came out is hardwired in my brain as in relation to the field anyway its sure not for the faint hearted coming day after day with a pouch full of tabs and not much else :stars:

its why the tabs lock the goodies up safe till I get there :lmfao: or if I get there :buds:

my motto is if its not fun its not fun...

sure not telling anyone how to detect .....

Nice gold Sven

Now, no way I can compare my Gold finds with most of the guys. But at $251 the Mojave only has to better the Compadre in my hands. And that should happen but might not be real easy. Dollar for dollar the Compadre is quite the weapon hunted in the right territory. The Mojave , I don't think was introduced to knock off the AT Pro or any other machine in the $600 & up.price range. And I don't believe it's going to change aluminum fields to gold. But if it edges out my Compardre it will have a place in my tool box.
Way too soon to tell.

As a new member here I would share this. I do not buy the hype. I buy detectors after they are proven. We all want to be proud of our machines and I think that is what Tom is hitting on. But I am no braggart and dont need recognition. I came here to pick your minds and share a few finds. I think it is exciting using a new machine. I will say when I seen Tom in ca I paid attention. I have found this is a forum for very experienced users. There is a lot of good stuff out here being shared. I have seen the self hypnotism Tom speaks of. I suffered from a similar case when I started looking at Spanish trails. But I would base a detector purchase in facts. What freq, what folks are finding, what sort of problems. I would let them go through some growing pains. If the new tesoro is a good deal, it will still be a good deal a year from now. But some of us are collectors, so I say go for it. Im waiting for the weather to break here. Got me a new toy myself. Do understand the excitement.

the 12 kHz Tesoro is a proven gold finder and for those who don't want to mod their compadre sens/coil change Tesoro have stepped up and gave people what they wanted, and Tesoro have done me no favours so I say this with an as open a mind as I can find , that if you want a real nice looking detector with the compadre 12 kHz and the ability to adjust the sens and change a coil and even handle some bad ground.

then that's what this detector is and I don't think its trying to be anything else

Tesoro is Tesoro what else is there to say.

plenty of other brands to chose from if you don't like them :buds:

I just want the coil
