Is the CTX 3030 screen suppose to be flat

I sent it in, should be there tomorrow. UPS is fast, 2 days! Do you think they will fix it? A lot of people were saying that it was normal. Mine really looked like it had been inflated. I realize this post is a year old but was hoping that there may have been some new light on the situation.

Thanks

Yes, the person I talked to at Minelab said they would fix mine if it was above a certain bulge tolerance. If you can't get a screen protector to lie flat, I would say that exceeds the tolerance.

I have had my CTX a long time now.and it has seen all sorts of conditions inside my vehicle and out here in the Hudson Valley. my screen never had any concavity to it

I should have said curvature, whoops...

My Ctx screen is flat and I made several screen protectors using flat finish automtive paint protection film. I've installed this anti glare screen on two other Ctx detectors with rounded screen with no issues.
