Here it is...my BEST find ever...now set in 14K...just as I promised:cheers:

Bryce, great idea for the pendant.Your post reminded me of my last visit to Virginia. After my dads death my mother asked me if there was anything I wanted of his.My dad and I worked near one another at General Motors for about twenty years before he retired about 17 years ago.He would come by lunch time to visit or make sure I was OK.I would do the same and sometimes on break time he would be at a table reading a bible.Anyway I told my mother there was something I wanted and she said sure is that all you wanted and answered yes.I went to the garage and there was his GMC pickup truck which he special ordered and walked through the building process he was proud of that truck. Now the truck is old and in disrepair's which has seen better days I opened the truck door and retrieved that small bible from the door compartment in the truck.I did sense that my dads presences was there when I put the bible in my duffel bag.

Thanks Ron. Thanks for sharing your story with me too. That's pretty neat that the bible was still in the same spot he left it in. Now it's where it belongs...with you. Take care buddy.

Yep Chris....if you see a Tie-dyed freak...but he has a sweet Merc hanging from his neck...it will probably be me.:detecting:

Thanks Mike. Think we can make the snow go away from IL? I'm tired of this weather...but I imagine it's just getting started.

Very nice Bryce. I remember reading your account of all you were going through, I just cant remember if I replied. Im sorry if I didnt. But it looks like you have the best of both worlds there. SomeTHING..and someONE you were obviously very passionate about. There is no doubt there was a reason you found that dime, and where and when you found it. A true treasure for you, and a ' feel good ' story for us..enjoy it forever Bro...Chris
