Great day. More of my usual finds.

A very fun morning. Local park. Tons of people most who were very interested in what I was doing. I spent quite a bit of time demonstrating. The park manager came over to see if I was ruining his grass. He had watched me recover about a dozen coins and came over to say how impressed he was with my technique. He told me he tossed a guy out last year who was using a shovel and digging huge holes. It's a fairly new park. I don't know what that guy was expecting to dig there. I found a NYC bridge token which is my favorite find of the day. I don't know if they still use them but it is worth a few bucks if it's still good. It met with a mower and has a very odd shiny stripe on both sides. I wonder if it was made like that. Anybody know? Got silver ring number 9 for the year. Averaging a silver ring every other hunt which is pretty good in my book. The ring made me think of that new friend I bring up from time to time. It has absolutely no connection to her. I reckon I just felt like thinking about her which is AOK with me. Haven't found a wheat in ages. Silver coin either. Gotta hit an old site soon.

Last year on April 30th I had found just under 3000 coins. This year just over 1700. Am I losing my enthusiasm?

I have a short hunt planned for tomorrow morning before the weather gets hot. Supposed to be 90. Two days ago it was in the 30s. Go figure. Thanks for looking!

WoW! nine silver rings...Thats Great!...doubt i have that many in my total collection.
Glad to hear you played the role of ambassador and that you had fun doing it.
This past weekend Saturday i chit chatted a couple folks, the second lady in particular, told
her i didnt expect to find much but maybe if luck was on my side a silver ring would pop.
She thanked me for sharing and said she had a good feeling for me.....5 minutes later i found the silver ring and she was nowhere to be seen.

Good hunt!:detecting:Nice finds!:clapping:Great clad haul!:thumbup:Congrats on the silver ring!:cheers:Man, that's interesting how that bridge token has an untarnished stripe down the middle.:wiggle:It looks like somebody taped it up and dipped it in Tarn-x:rofl:Nice pics!
