Get Ready | XP Metal Detectors

This update needs to be significant to justify this "tease" or XP will face a hailstorm of criticism and ne the laughing stock of marketing..
 
One thing is for sure. I doubt I anyone would be buying a current model of their detectors until whatever is announced.

I never understood why a manufacture does this to their dealers. I bet they are selling much XP since this tease.
 
I just wish they could give us an idea of category that is coming out. I am currently considering adding to my arsenal, but I want to see what XP is doing. That being said; I don't want to wait two years to find out. At least give us some kind of time frame.

I can’t worry about it. I just got a new Deus. Knowing how my timing can be sometimes I bet the new release is imminent! That’s alright. I’ll probably still be trying to learn the current model.

Yep, I wouldn't worry about it either Tbone. You still have a great machine. Speaking of timing, when I bought mine some years back, a week later XP dropped the price by $250 ! Fortunately after I whined about it to the dealer, they gave me store credit for the difference.
 
If it is a Simultaneous Frequency machine, I hope that it tells you which range of frequency is getting the best target responce. The V3i has that ability and is a great tool for target analysis. Can't wait to see what its abilities are.

100% agree that this would be a great feature. My buddy has a V3i and swears by this for determining what's in the ground.
 
That could be awesome. Always wanted a V3i but my detecting runs in stints and I'd never be able to learn or remember a machine with that much adjustability.
