Ron is my brother Mike. My F5 runs quite as a church mouse with the settings I recommended, no chirping, beeping or noise at all unless I put my coil over a high disc target.Mike Hillis said:Zero threshold is not the shallow end of the pool, Ron. Zero threshold is a hot setting.

It all depends on what your hunting and where your hunting. If the area your hunting is full of trash then all "ALL METAL" will drive you crazy, you'll be hearing and digging every few inches and that gets old quick.Dan123 said:When your just general hunting is it better to be in all metal or o disc. I kinda understand how disc works, just trying to figure out where I need to be and why. I listen and dig every hit to learn. I'm getting really good at digging holes! LOL
