Equinox beach hunters

I own 2 EQX 800s, a CTX and an Excal II. 99.9% of my hunting is on our Florida beaches and I haven't used either the CTX or Excal since I got the EQXs. Why? It's obviously lighter and more compact but the bottom line is that it has a much faster processor than either the CTX or Excal so I find it separates better than they do and it is much more sensitive to small targets like gold chains than either the CTX and Excal. Neither my CTX nor my Excal could ever pick up a small linked gold chain if it didn't have a medallion on it where my EQX can see them without a problem.

Again, this is just the view from my Florida beachhead....your experience my vary...:detecting:
