Does anyones V3 work properly?

Ouch, Greg, that hurts! Waving the white flag here!!! Come on, let's make up and be friends, okay? :cheekkiss: I am really quite harmless and certainly didn't mean to ruffle your feathers! My apologies to anyone that was offended by my post earlier today. It wasn't intended to do that. Enuf said.
 
I've been reading the manuel and watching the online DVD, only so much you can do when its not in your hands. I'm hoping I'll be able to ask a few "dum" questions without getting too "bagged" on when I get it. And I will finish the DVD and manuel. Im coming from a CZ-70 Pro which is a pretty easy machine to run. Cant wait!
 
Update from the village idiot:

It turns out that both my detector amd my partners detector (also v3) were defective and are being replaced by whites. In particular, mine was defective in a way that impacted depth.

Hopefully all we have learned trying to tweak around will help us be super good with fuly functiuoning detectors. Thank you, Whites. Were thankful that you stand behind your product!!!!

I still have to get the updates on one of the original Visions. I have it punching deep but wouldn't complain if it came back punching deeper! May have to make a run to the Portland area (for work) and Sweet Home isn't too much of a drive from there. Good to here they took care of you.
 
As Tater stated in an earlier post, our machines are being replaced - just in time, too, as we're headed out on a little metal detecting vacation! We hope to have some cool things to post on here upon return.
