DFX search coil

I was told that they stopped making Sniders Catsup
in the late 60's and I haven't found anyone who has heard of The White Coffee Pot.

It takes a long time to do a area but my results so far are well worth it. I was most impressed when I found a diamond stud earring and two earring backs.
And of course the depth of that token.

Whites has a recent reputation of setting up sporting goods places and hobby stores. The dealers are not trained although there are seminars that we can attend. They don't use the equipment either in many cases. I guess it boils down to .... do you want to buy from a "dealer" who cannot tell you where the on / off is or a dealer that only carries detectors and related products and uses them ? The choice is yours and you get what they offer.

Will be buying DFX or Garrett gti2500 from Tony when he gets back from the Whites get together in the Spring.....Just want to hear if they are replacing the DFX anytime soon before I buy from Tony.
Yes many hobby stores sell detectors and many don't know about detecting as I can see by talking to them.
At least TonyinCT know his stuff and only a call away,I ratter have that then someone local that don't not really know much about detectors......JT

the Matrix Line. My Distributor didn't now about the M6 release until the week it was released....Our dealer meeting is on hold, so that when we do have it, it will coincide with the new releases and they can be on the agenda.... Regards RichardnTn

Hi, I'm new to this hobby and I bought a dfx finder. All I know is the preset programs and I was wandering if anyone knows where I can get more programs to put in it? Thanks Keith

Keith, Jump to the DFX Users classroom Forum. You can click on the DFX Personal users programs at the top of the page. DaveZ's program is a great one to start with.

Hi Fish,

Go to the forum index and go to DFX Classroom forum, at the top is a link to user programs.
Maybe do a search on DFX only.com also.

Enjoy your DFX, and good luck to you!

Drew.

Most Dealers are good dealers. All Dealers just like Detector Models are not created equal. Do your homework.

Whites gives you usually a list of the three dealers nearest you.

Some Dealers carry all the models some, only a select few.

Some Dealers support their local clubs, some don't. I personally try to sign every one of my new customers up for our fun-club, at only 25.00 per year, the Bay Area Searchers is a Bargain... and you get 12 monthly issues of what's going on and events regarding metal detecting.

Even some of my out of the state customers enjoy receiving the newsletters..... by the way, your all invited next month, second Thursday, First Baptist Church, San Bruno, 7PM, 1005 Crystal Springs Rd off of El Camino Real. Show and Tell, Club Hunts etc.... be my guest!!!

White's built up its success and reputation on the backs of metal detector enthusiasts who became professional dealers. Unfortunately the Internet convenience opens the doors to ordering taking without the after the sale guidance and support. Your local dealer could be competitive on the sale and training, but alas, not even given a chance to compete. Things are changing though.

Also, regarding any new detectors, .... no replacement on the horizon for the very popular high performing DFX. Other things, but I cannot talk about due to contractual agreements, besides, only Ken White's knows for sure... the only answer you'll get "We are always working on new stuff, but nothing more specific until it comes."

I am pretty excited about..., oops, better shut up.
