Could use some help here

I found this in a field that I've pulled coins ranging from 1890's to the 1920's. Many of the personal items I've dug are engraved like this one.
I have no clue as to what it could be from.

Nice find, like the look of it. It is of someone that had some money from the looks of it and my first impression looks like it has on one edge a stopper of some sort, is there rubber or something on what looks like a plug. If it is that my impression is a stopper for a bottle of some some sort. If it is I will say it might be for a personized wine or other liquid. As you notice there is a hole in what looks like a stopper and think there had been a rod running though it and when you lifted on the opposite end it would release the rubber on the plug so you could release the cork in the bottle and when done you would put the plug back in pull the other end back down which would pull that rod up and squished the rubber plug to seal the container .

Don't know for sure, but that is what it looks like to me, That type plug on the end was used in some older temos bottles or hot water bottles. Like I say it is a guess and maybe someone else will know more.

Thank you for your thoughts Rick. The screw part is about 1/4 inch in dia. It's attached to the body by a small (non-corrosive) screw.
I kind of thought maybe an ornate door buzzer actuator where the screw part is the contact point, but that's probably wrong.
I will post better pictures later of the threaded body and small screw attaching it when I get home.

Found another piece of the puzzle today. I believe it goes together per the last picture. I'm sure there was more to it.
maybe a watch or key fob? It's approx. 3 inches long x 1 inch wide.

Those two pieces are quite intriguing!!
I have no idea what they could be though.

Sterling silver. I wasn't sure until I found the second half. It's marked. If you zoom into the 2nd pic of the second set posted, you can see.
I've found a lot of engraved sterling silver artifacts at this site. For so many personal items to be found, I believe there may have been a fire and the remains bulldozed.
Although I haven't really found any indication of a fire. there are a lot of personal items dug. flatware, belt buckles, pocket watch innards, ointment tubes, compacts, 2 inch round tins (some ornate), buttons, cheap jewelry, etc.
But also old car parts, brass gas fittings, fixture handles, hat pins from machine shop equipment, stuff like that. About 30 damaged pennies, trade tokens, 10 silver dimes (most mercs). The site has me rather perplexed as to what was there. Nothing noted on historical maps of the area.
Store, shop, home, picnic grove? Everything is represented at this site.

I noticed the sterling mark after posting.
Those are unique pieces, and that site is a mystery too it seems like. Hopefully someone can help ID those two pieces for you….keep us posted and good luck!
