1. If I could only have one detector - XTerra 705
2. Best detector for the money - XTerra 305
3. Most versatile - XTerra 705
4. Best coin shooter - XTerra 305 with 6" concentric coil, can run at a much stable higher sensitivity than 705 = depth and clarity of tone at depth, hits and ID's tonally and numericly on-edge coinage far better than FBS.
5. Deepest - Minelab XT18000 late model in 6.4kHz and Wot coil....kills the BBS and FBS on any ground barr salt beach for depth.
6.Worst one I have used - Garrett A3b, Minelab Eldorado MK11, the entire Garrett Ace series, Fisher Goldstrike, early Tesoro Lobo, early Tesoro Silver Sabre, Tesoro Dingo, Tesoro Gold Demon, Tesoro Diablo,'s in all forms,, Sour SD 2200's, Bad GP Extrem's.
7. Most settings to play with - not applicable.
8. Best pinpointing. - most good units have equal pinpointing, by ear I mean.
9. Best in trash - XTerra series only with 6" concentric on them.
10. Best salt water beach detector - BBS, FBS, don't drop em in the water Barr Excalibur.
11. Fastest recovery time - far too many to mention.
12. Best nickel finder - Dunno what a Nickle is.
13. Most accurate TID - XTerra's.
14. Most under rated - XTerra 30, XTerra 305, Fisher F44, Whites GMT, Fisher F19, Detech EDS.
Sd2100 v2's and 2200v2's,
15. Detector that never got a fair shake - Minelab Dual Ace, XT18000,s,

2. Best detector for the money -Ace 250
3. Most versatile - CTX
4. Best coin shooter - ETRAC.
5. Deepest - Still left to be proven
6. Worst one I have used -Bounty Hunter something.

If I could go back in time, I would buy the Etrac and buy nothing else.
