Anyone have the information on where to get the plastic screen overlays for the explorers/etracs?

They must have accidently omitted the instructions in my kit. There was nothing written in with the materials. Maybe I will call them. Thanks

Mine came in a box along with a squeegee, and the spray. The inside flap had all the instructions on it. It was not on a separate sheet of paper. So if yours came in a box, you got the instructions. Basically, wash and dry your hands and the part, that the cover is going to be applied to. Arrange the pieces so that you are sure that they fit. I found this to be the hard part. Didn't realize that part of the shield folds over from the sides of the screen. The one that goes over the screen and buttons is easy, the side parts were a bit harder to ID:rofl: Then spray your finger tips and both sides of the shield. Try and keep you prints from the side that sticks as much as possible. Try and position it first try as close as possible to where it will go. Then shift it around a bit to be exactly where you need it to be. That's why you spray it well, before you apply it, so you can move it slightly. When positioned, use the squeegee from the center to the edges. This gets rid of almost all the bubbles. Any micro bubbles will work themselves out. Wipe excess off and let her sit for about 24 hours. It's pretty easy once you do it. One other thing, make sure that there is no moving air around. I did mine in the basement and trapped a couple of fine particles from our pellet stove in it. A bit distracting to look at. Hope this helps. I love mine so far, but the real test will be when I get it all full of mud! HH.

Instructions came in the kits that I received. Spray your fingers and both sides of the clear cover, place and get the shield adjusted properly and use the squeegee to remove any bubbles. I even had to remove and re install on one of my machines. However, this was done during the initial installation, not after a significant amount of time had passed. They are on two of my machines along with a palm pilot type device. Excellent product.

Thanks for the help. Mine came in a round cardboard tube with the protective cover in a plastic bag, a bottle of something and a rubber looking scraper thingy. NO instructions, but I think I can manage now. Thanks again.

I just received mine and can't figure out how the side pieces go on. What are the little cutouts on the side pieces for?
Thanks

I just wrote ZAGG and they are not sure what the side pieces are for either.

They are going to get back to me.

Good company they will make it right.

Hi Guys, I had the same problem and let me assure you, the pieces are correct. I couldn't figure it out until they showed me how they go on. The notches are not cut outs for the screws!!! They are needed to make a correct bend around corners. Also note, that when you put the pieces on, they will fold over where the notches are and will also fold over the front of the screen. So the notches make the corners work and bend over ever so slightly to the front lip of the screen. When you allow for the rolled over lip, they will now fit along the screen seams that are on the sides. Hope this helps!! PM me if you need some other help.

Thanks, it makes sense now. I was looking at the cutout in the top piece and thinking it went around the port for the computer hookup. do the side pieces but match the face piece or overlap? I'm wondering if I should put the sides on first or the front piece on first?

Doesn't matter which you put on first. The face only covers the screen and buttons. The side pieces fold over ever so slightly. Find which side piece goes on which side. Then take one and line it up with the seam on the side of the display, and you will see it sticks out just enough to roll over the front edge of the screen. But I started with the face plate first. Remember to wet your fingers and both sides of the protector WELL, so that when you apply it, you can move it around enough to get it aligned. Then use the squeegee from the center and work the bubbles out to the edge. Make sure you don't have any air movement so no dust gets under it. Try and keep the finger prints on the glue side to a minimum, if at all. Any left over micro bubbles will work out overnight. Then try one side piece and then the other. Good luck. Once you get it, it will look so easy. But I had issues with it until the sent me an explanation.
