Ace 250 or GTP 1350???

I don't have arthitis but use it for aches and pain. It works so fast that right after you rub it on you get the taste of clams in your mouth.I know several folks who do use it for arthritis. Try a feed store. If it's available in your neck of the woods that's where you will find it unless it's still sold in Pharmacies there. I used to get it there for years until the drug companies whined to the FDA and made them label it for animal use only.

I know it is good stuff, had a draft that the coffin bone was bad and it was the only thing that helped.

I own a GTP 1350 and a ACE 250 and like them both very much. I have found more rings, relics and silver coins than some men have found after years in the hobby; however to be fair I tect at least three times a week because I am retired.I have used the 1350 almost exclusively and use the 250 as a loaner/backup. This is mainly because I bought and learned to use the 1350 first. I gave my son a 10 minute lesson on the 250 and after an afternoon of hunting, he had found just as many coins as I had.
I am writing this as a suggestion; why not have all those wonderful 1350 and 250 tips all in one place so the newbies could easily find them?
This forum cut my learning time by 75% because of the terrific help you all gave me. I am thankful that I stumbled upon this forum, I have read many forums and this is by far the absolute best.
Your Friend,
John D.

Great idea John. I actually do have a ton of them - I've collected a bunch. If one of our lovely moderators we have can arrnage a sticky, then we can begin filling it up.

How about it, indeed?

I know what you mean . This is the best one I have been on,no kidding aside:cheers:I would love to see all the tips on the 250 & 1350 in one place too.:usaflag:

Excellent Idea, John D.; and not just for the newbies, but for experienced people who tend to forget some of the little tricks that make a hunt more productive.

Dahut suggested a Sticky & it can be done. Check the Minelab XTerra Forum, where some of the best detectorists have compiled their information all under one heading, FAQFAQ

I have an XTerra but prefer my Ace 250 & thinking about a GTP1350. Would enjoy having a consolidated compilation of tips and tricks regarding Garrett detectors.

Hope it materializes :clapping:

I have em... the tips that is. Email me if you want em.

Uncle Willy,

Many thanks for your advice on the DMSO, it's marketed here as "Exiflam" I've been able to locate a supplier and have ordered some, it will be here on Thursday. I'll let you know how it goes for me.

Regards, Barry.

I've been following your comments with some interest Bill and was wondering if you could elaborate on this one a bit more.
I had 3 discs in my neck prolapse nearly 2 years ago, the pain of which, I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. I came across a product called transfer factor a few months ago, of which I started taking, and about 8 weeks back, I can more or less turn my neck fairly freely as a result, but still not perfect. If I over do things then the pain returns. It would be nice to be able to use something that doesn't have Ibuprofen in it as that can't be healthy in the long term.
I'll certainly look at the other products you've mentioned.
Thanks.
Mick Evans.

Thanks Gold Buddy.
I just read the link. Very informative. I wonder if it has any other applications. It doesn't appear to be that way though.
