A LITTLE POLL...HOW MANY ARE GOING TO PURCHASE A 350 AND HOW MANY AN AT PRO???

That's about the date for the 350. Last I heard the first of November for the AT unless they are buried in preorders. I have a feeling it's going to be an instant sellout.

I'll most likely get an AT Pro. I'm just glad that Garrett finally came out with a new wader. We'll see how it does at prospectin' That 15 Khz is good, but without true all metal mode I'm not sure. Well see. My old Sea Hunter VLF is 15 kHz and it's a really great machine for water/beach hunting. I love that new 8.5"x11"DD search coil is awesome. Gonna try to get that one for all of my machines that can take one:detecting:

Well I just took the plunge and put in a pre-order for the AT Pro. hope it gets here before the ground freezes up for the winter. :wiggle:

I just posted about the all metal. The way it's rigged it's so close to true all metal one won't notice any difference and it's virtually the same, with automatic and manual GB.

I was thinking about the ACE 350 around the holidays for my son although he's only 8 he enjoys using the Sea Hunter Mark II in the water up to he's waist. Now that Garrett has announced the AT and the ability to use in water up to 10 feet. It's a no brainer.

Well i am going to get the AT Pro have been waiting a long time for Garrett to come back out with a wadeing detector and this is what i want a AT........

That's what I make of it too. I'm going to love the Pro audio mode! I like to hear the ramp up and ramp down tone.

I'm a coin hunter..Not much else, but might like the water some.. So thats really nice..But will 15KHZ do well on Silver coins ??

MXT and M6's find silver running 15 kHz. I have no doubt the At Pro will too. It weighs just 3.03 pounds! It has an optional 6x9 and 4.5 coil available. The At Pro has a lot more options going for it than the big box machines. Here is a link to some pictures that were posted.

I am going to keep my Ace 250 as it is the ONLY metal detector I have ever won. Then I am going to wait for a little while see if there are any bugs to workout with the AT Pro. Then get a AT PRO maybe after the holidays. What I have works for me today. No rush ...yet. But I will lean towards the AT PRO... Yeah

Since I just bought a Sea Hunter Mark II this spring, I'm just going to buy the new DD coil for my ACE 250. I've been going over a lot of old gravel parking lots that seem to have been skipped by most others, because they are so hard to dig, with the 41/2" coil and doing pretty well. What I would really like to see is a 6x9 and 4 or 5 inch DD coil available for the Ace line.

I am going to adapt a wait-and-see approach.
The AT Pro does interest me, but as far as it terra firma capabilities.
A duck I am not.
On top of that, a coin shooting duck.
I have to ask myself, how does the AT Pro stack up against the 1500 GTI in parks, playgrounds, lawns and yards?
Frankly, I do not see the AT Pro reaching that level.
I will look though,
