A LITTLE POLL...HOW MANY ARE GOING TO PURCHASE A 350 AND HOW MANY AN AT PRO???

I wouldnt rush on that as you will miss imaging and the all metal mode....just ADD an AT pro.

Alan

Yeah that would be the likely choice for you since you're a nuggie hunter. The 15 khz, waterproof, and all metal with GB ought to be right up your alley. Plus that weight of 3.3 pounds would be a bit more pleasant to drag around.

Bill

Oh yeh Bill...that would be awesome for a nugget hunter...just add an all metal mode to the current ATPRO and there ya go...a new Scorp!

Alan

Tesoro is a good machine ( owned a slew of them ) but you'd be wise to stick with Garrett and take advantage of the new technology they'll be coming out with.

Bill

Like most of the responses here, I think I'll have to wait now. I had planned on getting
the 350 but now that the AT PRO is coming out, I'll wait and see what the reviews have to say and
if there are any kinks that need to b worked out.
I think that it will cost around $699 so if the distributors give their usual %20 to 30 %
off then that will make it easier on my pocket book.:)-)

I have been interested in the ACE-350. That is why I've been over here. I like the revamp of the notch segments and the freq change and the new DD coil. So I've been lurking, watching for what info might come out about it. Looking forward to reading more about it as they get into peoples hands.

The AT Pro, well....that is probably more exciting for the Garrett fans who have never had a Garrett name on these features before. I'm glad you are getting them and excited for you as it looks like it will be a nice unit, but I have no interest in driving one. From what I've read recently though, it looks like a lot of folks are looking to a potential freshwater replacement for Tesoro in this AT Pro.

Regardless of how I feel about a particular unit, it is always a grand thing when new metal detectors are released to the public. Helps stir everyone's interests up.

AT Pro-just waiting to get the rest of the money to pre-order...

Yeah dealer discounts should knock it down into the $500 plus range - which ain't a bad price for what one will get. It's a lot like the 250 was - an expensive unit rolled up and hidden in an entry level package. Think old Charles snuck another surprise in on the competition and they'll be scrambling to catch up.

Bill.

I still love my 1350 and hoping Charles comes out with a new flag ship soon!:garrett:

Just received an email telling me my 350 was in, so I just got done paying for it.....and will be looking forward to using it. Crops are coming out of the fields as we speak, so maybe I'll get the chance to see if I like it that much better than my 250.
