GS5, how similar to the TDI?

Hi guys, I had a GS5, and like an idiot, I sold it, have been offered a TDI, but was wondering how much tinkering Whites did with Eric's design? I have heard that the power output is far lower on the TDI, can anyone confirm what the differences are please? Cheers Darrin

Has been a scorcher here today, mix in the run to the sun in Newquay, and my plans for the low water hunt today were stuffed, will wait a few days and then hit the wet and see what the doners have dropped:wiggle:

    etrac vs v3

I'm down in Cornwall m8, not that many hammies lurking, but I have no doubt that the V3 is gonna ht them, done some tests with a cut quarter I had last year and it hits it no probs in an air test, of course in the ground is gonna be a different story, yet to be told, but I will be off the some...

    Spectra Stand

Takes about 3 seconds to take off, the important thing for us is to keep it off the sand when we try the beaches with it, I know what you mean about hitting the leg, but it doesn't really seem to hamper the swing at all, mind you I don't swing too far to the right anyway, like to keep a tight...

    etrac vs v3

Deepest where, beach, fresh plough or pasture? I'll wager my GT against the E-Trac on wet sand, (and yes I have both), so speaking from experience, last week V3 v E-trac fresh plough, various uk coins buried at up to 9", both machines hit all targets, different setups, you can't compare one...

    Spectra Stand

Thought you might like to see a stand that my m8 came up with, genius in design, requires no drilling or altering the machine in any way, very stable and the 'u' stand can be very simply removed for transportation. I think he should patent this idea, which is why the crucial connection part of...

    Chargers

I'm not sure if anything is actually produced in the UK, I thought it was a service centre, and that all the machines came in from the States. I may be wrong, I don't know. But the machine is very good, I like it a lot and just wish I could get out more with it, looks like we're in for some...

    Chargers

Have you guys in the States got chargers for your machines? Had mine for a week or so, and still waiting for the battery charger, didn't come in the box, nor did the dvd. Just wanted to find out the rating of the charger so that I can charge the pack and save some money on batts Cheers Dazzer

Anyone finding gold in parks full of pulltabs?

I wouldn't be too hasty to discount the theory, although I only did a small sample test on some 9, 14 and 18 ct, small thin section rings against pull tabs, what I found was a distinct separation between the 22 and 7.5 freq's in analyze. Now this was only a very small sample and a very quick...

    UK v3 first time out

Hi guys, Well me and my m8 took delivery of our Spectra's yesterday, we went out like two kids at Christmas to have a play. Very impressed with the screen, all machines should be this way, you can see it at any angle, in any light, simply superb. Got to get to grips with it over the next few...

My only find today, about 4000 years old

Dropped onto the beach today, no go, loads of sand and long running tide, decided to pop into a new field on top of the cliff, started raining and I spied a glint on the ground. It was a late neolithic flint, some 4000 years old or more...........
