Another reason not to dig zinc's !!

That is a lot of digging you did… Too bad the zincs do not hold up better.. at least then you’d at least have something.

    Need advice - lost ring

As I mentioned earlier, you coil is not installed correctly…. Looking at the photo, the coil needs to be rotated 1/4 turn clockwise. Another thing that I noticed is the cable is very loose around the shaft and that can cause erratic signals like you are getting. Another thing to keep in...

    Button identification

What I find intriguing is the type of button it is.. the design is stamped from the backside, yet it appears to be a one piece button. Neat find and looks like a pretty old one.. Reminds me of Santa Claus and his reindeer…😀

    Need advice - lost ring

I am not too familiar with that detector, but it does have five different tones, so there will be a tone change depending on the number (or group of numbers I should say). Since you do not have a manual, it might help to watch a couple videos on YouTube.

    Need advice - lost ring

I would not be too concerned about the depth readings. A shallow target will give a double beep as you swing over it and the same ID reading. Also remember the coil will pick up metal on all sides and above it a well as below. Keep this in mind if you are case to that fence line. Concentrate...

    Needing a new Shovel

I purchased a Model 35 Piranha shovel made by Predator tools a couple years ago and really like it..great for woods and field where digging is not an issue. For yards, parks, and schoolyards I only use a Lesche digger or a Raptor digger.

Williams type 3 cleaner bullets & others

Amazing finds there… I never get tired of looking at Civil War bullets!! It’s been a couple years since I’ve found any.
