Confederate & Union Civil War Relics With Seated & Barber Silver Sprinkled In

Very very nice. I hope you are able to hunt that site some more. It is a shame “progress “ has obliterated so much of the past.

    My first hunt of 2024

Very nice. I really like my MXT too.

whats the big object in this Picture. Hint...Giddy Up!

Proper name is a reigns terret. It is surprising that they are a fairly common find, unbroken too. How do you lose something like that?

    1800s Schoolhouse goodies

Those are all very nice. Thanks for posting.

    Cleaning Buffalo nickels

I always clean Nickels & copper coins dry after the coin surface has had a chance to harden. Wet cleaning can slough off the details.

Help with Id on this bullet

Black powder rifle. Dimensions would help on the ID.

    Big button ID ?

That's as nice a Tombac button as anyone would ever find, but the others are the ones I like the best, especially the script I.

    Legend frequencies

It pays dividends in knowledge to experiment. While your test is not the same as real in ground performance it is a good one. The higher TIDs from one direction may be because of the DD coil. The RX approaching first. For my iron ore red dirt ground, Field M1 has performed best with Recovery...

    legand tone

Your perception is correct. The Legend’s audio is much more pleasant but still very intelligent. My Anfibio’s audio language is harsher, but has more nuance and you have to listen more closely.

A little help from the antique ammo guys….

Me too, along with the packaging. It is very interesting.

A little help from the antique ammo guys….

There were loadings for Short, Long and Extra Long. Looking at my reference from cartridge-corner.com; .32 Long Rimfire has a case length of .797” and a rim diameter of .378”. I have several that I have dug.

Early Kerosene Tractor Pocket Watch Fob

Outstanding. Glad you were able to get out & hunt. Thanks for posting.

What detector does this NEL Hunter coil fit

You might try E Mailing Nell an enquiry with the coil model/size and serial #. The connector looks like Whites or Fisher or earlier Garrett. I would have to count pins on mine to guess better.

    AT Max

I like my AT Max but have never hunted a Saltwater environment. I would have to just read it Users Manual for suggestions. Be prepared to need the Disc set up to foil at minimum and lower sensitivity than dry land. Ground Balance will be important.

    Eagle pin recovery

That is very interesting and seems to have some age to it. It looks more like a Dove to me.

    Unknown piece?

All I can think of is an adjuster to some type of tool, perhaps a woodworking plane.

What software is on new unit being shipped currently?

I would assume V1.13 is what Nokta is currently shipping. Your selling dealer would probably be glad to update yours if need be before shipping.

    5 kHz ABYSS

Jimmy, On the Deep Tech machines you have a Low tone for anything below the Disc set point & a High tone for anything above. BUT, there is also a third tone exactly on the Disc point that will flip flop between low & high. If you like you can set the Disc to break on a Nickel and know it’s a...

    5 kHz ABYSS

The mode of operation reminds me of the Gen mode on my Anfibio. Nokta did not develop it to full potential, it is weaker than the motion Disc modes. The Rutus Versa also has a similar mode but it lacks small target sensitivity. I hope the small(coin size)target sensitivity is good for the Abyss.
