XP Deus is Killer on Silver

I actually dug the silver dime in PA-in highly mineralized ground.

XP Deus is Killer on Silver

Good question: in all honesty, I was finding more civil war relics, buttons, bullets and period coins with my XP Deus in a little over a year usage-then 2 years with the Nox 800. It was a no brainer for my digging conditions here in Virginia where I live and dig.

XP Deus is Killer on Silver

Hello XP Deus Users- I’ve only been using the XP Deus for about 15 months now since selling my Nox 800 but am very pleased with the depth and performance I am getting with this machine. I dug my 2nd Liberty capped bust dime (1835) a few weeks ago where I dug my first capped Liberty capped dime...

    1834 Cap Bust Dime

Was digging on Saturday and dug my first silver coin of the year and my oldest US silver coin to date-1834 cap bust. I was using Deus Fast on my XP Deus and she locked on this coin solid 90 at about 4 inches. Man I love this machine!

    ***Cleaned up Enfield Bayonet***

I checked it was not a barrel to a gun that was my first thought.

    ***Cleaned up Enfield Bayonet***

After a week in the electrolysis bath the Enfield Bayonet cleaned up real purty...After careful examination it appears the tip is not broken off as I initially had thought; it appears the “user” used the bayonet as a possible digging/gardening tool as the tip although there appears to be...

    ***Gotta Dig That Iron****

I was on a group hunt in South Carolina this past weekend at a huge track of land that had known Rev War and Civil War activity; although it was easy digging in the sandy loony sugar soil, I was unable this time to sniff out any buttons at all on this trip with my XP Deus using high frequency...

My two best finds ever with my Deus..

Awesome recoveries Calabash! I bought the XP Deus a year ago on account of your videos and another Deus user and I have not looked back! 🤣😜🤪

Squeaked out good ones with the Deus...

Nice digs Calabash! Live the early Eagle A button; keep the videos going!

XP Deus sniffs out a Confederate Mississippi I button

Thanks Calabash, my button is not as purty as you SC diggers but I’ll take her! Keep posting your relic hunting videos; because of you and others videos I bought the Deus Jan 2019 but didn’t start using it until Dec 2019-and the rest is history.

Ha ha! Been there done that! 🤪🤣😜

XP Deus sniffs out a Confederate Mississippi I button

Agree there is no holy grail in metal detectors; learn your machine well and run with it. Even with “el cheapo” radio shack special; if a guy can learn all nuances of that machine with time will out perform anybody with a top of the line detector who doesn’t know the machine. Happy Hunting!

XP Deus sniffs out a Confederate Mississippi I button

Thanks for your feedback, I forgot to mention I’m using the white round HF coil but I agree with you sir-if it ain’t broke don’t fix it! Borrowing from an infamous info commercial years ago; “Set it and forget it.” 🤪😜🤣😎

XP Deus sniffs out a Confederate Mississippi I button

I can’t say more good things about the XP Deus, it is by far the best relic/coin metal detector I have ever owned -and I’ve been metal detecting since 1999-21years now since I finished grad school in 1996. In an area that we have pounded with every machine in the last 9 years I have dug 4...

XP Deus loves brass and coins

Lodge Scent, Yes it is a double struck Classic Head half cent 1809. I can't find any info re. double struck coins for that year but I recovered it, along with an 1864 2 cent piece, and an 1801 Large Cent, all with the Deus!

XP Deus loves brass and coins

Lodge scent thanks for the tip! I’ve been hunting using Deus Fast and have kept settings same. I will use your recommendation when I go out this Saturday to same site to see if this adds to other deeper conductive targets. Hope you make some good finds as well. Happy Digging

    Confederate Script I

You will not be disappointed with the Deus, funny thing I bought the Deus brand new Jan 2019 but did not start using it until Oct 2019 so I have just over a year on my belt. I have more quality finds/buttons/coins with this machine in just a year usage then my over 2 years with my Nox 800.

XP Deus loves brass and coins

I’ve only been using the XP Deus since December 2019; 11 months now but do live the results. I just dig this script I from this site in VA on Saturday; we’ve been pounding this area for 10 years now and I have never dug any civil war buttons here, just flat buttons and Bullets. The other pics...
