Does the F70 work in wet beach sand

as for the settings, disc set just at iron knock out and sens as high as possible until it becomes unstable/erratic. At least that's how I would approach it. Anyone agree/disagree ? Mark ( ohio )

    First outing with Manticore

Pretty amazing and very similar VDI numbers to my Old whites blue box eagle II I used many, many yrs ago... no doubt, if it was a 20 or 21.... 98 out of 100 times you better be looking for that nickel in the hole or plug. I personally think the expanded numbers are a huge benefit Mark ( ohio ).

    NOX LEAKING

To me, here's the question that needed answered ( maybe/hopefully ). Where is the leak coming from. Is water entering the area where the headfone jack is screwed into the detector? I just recently bought a new nox600 about 3-4 months back. I'm guessing its a newer run unit and also purchased...

    Any CZ-5 users?

Weight is not a big factor because it could be hip mounted, so no issue there... BUT, the biggest down fall I had ( when i used one MANY yrs ago ) was it frequently miss ID deep iron washers or bottle cap as coins. Yes, it does work very good on salt water beaches as was mentioned.

    Ouch Nox 600,800

Well, speaking only for me personally, I just recently bought a 600 maybe/around 3- 4 months ago. didn't need the 800 because i don't gold prospect. Maybe I should have done my due diligence more closely and asked the right questions about upcoming releases. Wasn't interested in paying big $$$...

This Quest detector being talked about a few threads below.....

What country produces this detector who handles U S sales and where does the repair work take place should it Cr%p the bed ? The high end models "look " promising , priced about what a mid-level detector from known producers are charging. Mark ( ohio)

Detectors that have stood the test of time.

Yo DD, tho I personally/regrettably never owned the Excalibur (went with a cz20 instead ) I vaguely remember the original with the crab coil ( thats what the description was ) was the most desirable of the variants... True or not, I don't know. Mark ( ohio )
